About
Winter Park Pines Golf Club has offered one of the most affordable rounds in the greater Orlando area since first opening in 1968. The course has a traditional design that is ideal for beginners though it's also great if you're looking for a quick, casual round. The par-70 golf course may seem odd with a par-34 front nine and a par-36 back nine, but the layout manages to blend together seamlessly. The golf course has short par 4s and par 3s of varying lengths. There is one par 5 that measures 462 yards. The first half of the course is especially scenic with mature trees framing most of the holes. In addition to the golf course, Winter Park Pines also has a practice facility available. It features a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens with a bunker.

Great day.
Wanted to play as a Two-some but got paired with 2 others. No biggie. Course still looked pretty good but a lot of tee boxes were a bit beaten and sandy. Still my favorite course. Pro Shop guy was very cool and snack shack ladies as well and I shot a 75!!

Nice little course.
Played this course several times and it is always fun. Has more par 3s than most courses but is still fun to play. It is a shorter course which gives an opportunity to tee off with long irons. Only down side to this course is that staff always seem to be in a bad mood. Not very friendly and answer questions with as little information as they can get away with.

Good Course for mediocre golfer
The course is in pretty good shape with very difficult putting greens. Course is short but let’s you use all your clubs. Back 9 greens were in better condition then the front nine.
Course is pretty wide open so no list balls which doesn’t happen often. Sand traps were in good condition

Nice short course
While the back 9 has more Par 3’s, they are long. Fast Greens.

Potential Not Achieved
Confusion with our tee time start as we were told in the pro shop it would be announced but we had to go back in to the pro shop to get confirmation we coujld tee off as our name was not announced over the loud speaker. This course is in desperate need of an on course marshall to keep play moving at an adequate pace as it took us over 2 and a half hours to play the front nine. Staff in the clubhouse were very friendly and the food was excellent.

Impossible greens
In general, the course was enjoyable to play but the greens were not even fair. Many of them were so slanted that you could hit a ball to the hole and unless it fell in it would come backwards and come all the way off the green. They were incredibly fast and hard and you couldn’t land a ball on them without it bouncing off.
