About
Winter Park Pines Golf Club has offered one of the most affordable rounds in the greater Orlando area since first opening in 1968. The course has a traditional design that is ideal for beginners though it's also great if you're looking for a quick, casual round. The par-70 golf course may seem odd with a par-34 front nine and a par-36 back nine, but the layout manages to blend together seamlessly. The golf course has short par 4s and par 3s of varying lengths. There is one par 5 that measures 462 yards. The first half of the course is especially scenic with mature trees framing most of the holes. In addition to the golf course, Winter Park Pines also has a practice facility available. It features a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens with a bunker.

This Place Sucks
The clubhouse is an old moldy dump. It is crowded and the staff are rude and unhelpful. They take the entire fun out of playing golf. Oh, and don’t even try to bring your kids to play. It is the only course I know in Central Florida that does not allow kids under 6 to play. This isn’t Bay Hill. It’s an old tired course where you should be able to bring your kids (and they should be able to play for free) so we can grow the game. They have a bunch of other stupid rules too. Don’t waste your time going here.

Winter Pines - Winter Pines
It's been the same for 30 years. Great front nine., Horrible back nine. It's my local place. It's my 10 minute drive to play. It is usually cheap....and worth every cent. I mean that. It is awesome as a local place to kill some grass. I do give it 5 stars for the value and the area. The greens were great Last week. The fairways were great. The back nine just kinda sucks.....because it is so short.

I think the tee times need to be spaced further apart. We waited up to 15 minutes some holes for the group or groups in front of us to tee off.

I have played golf for 47 years and never before have any staff member of any b CB luv ask to check my golf shoes bottom I find this very insulting and if this is regular practice it should stop and if it don’t I’ll fight this tooth and nail.
