David L. Baker Memorial Golf
About
The David L. Baker Golf Course is an affordable public course located in Fountain Valley. It has an approachable layout that is versatile enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels. No two holes are alike but all of the greens and fairways share the same excellent conditions. Water has a prominent presence on this executive golf course with lakes and ponds running alongside many of the holes. The sloped greens are lightning fast and the fairways are tightly manicured. Beside the greens lurk treacherous sand traps that are just waiting to swallow errant shots. Although there are some tricky holes, the layout is gentle enough for beginners. It is an enjoyable and affordable round that offers excellent short game practice, no matter what skill level.

Golfer Reviews
Decent muni
Decent course. Greens were very soft. Lots of damage at edges of greens. People weren't repairing ball marks. Carts were older and worn out.
Could be so much nicer.
Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry we did not live up to expectations. We’d love to know more about what we can do to improve, so please feel free to message us with details.
Early Afternoon Round
The course is perfect for honing my short game. Trying not to pull out a driver or hybrids on their Par 4's. My only wish if the Marshall was out there or at least get the singles paired up with either a group ahead or behind them for a faster pace. Lastly, if maybe the starter can also mention to fix their divots on the greens. That's pretty much what I do on the greens, look for divots and fixing them. The greens will even be in better shape. Leave them better that when you get there.
Decent for the price
Not very well maintained. Very small and slow course. Bring a book to read while you wait. Watch for other golfers hitting at you from fairways next to you on either side.
Great short course
Nice, short, course tucked away in a nice area. I enjoyed my round.
Great value! Short and fun!
Great value for a quick 18 at a par 62. Course is in okay shape with some summer die off of grass. Great little snack bar and patio. The driving range is basically dirt, and you’ll be hitting off mats. The practice putting green is very basic and flat. No real area to chip or sand practice. The course has some short holes, but you’ll swing your driver enough to feel like a normal 18. Overall, worth it and always fun! Great warmup round for a bigger course and a great place to keep your skills sharp. Found myself hitting my lob wedge and 40 to 60 yard approach shots a lot!
Golf now team
Hey somehow I was double booked at my golf terrine today. And the course tried to cancel the second kind but they said I need to tell you guys and you can calm the course and get it cancelled. Bc I pay $100 dollars two times today.
Where is a contact for you guys?
Let me know
Thanks
Hot Deal Worthy
Biggest gripe would be green conditions, most were green but lots of bumps and divots from lack of maintenance and golfers not fixing impacts specifically on the greens.
1973rcs, thank you for the constructive criticism, and sorry we couldn’t make it a 5 star experience. Your comments will be passed along to the management team.
