About
The David L. Baker Golf Course is an affordable public course located in Fountain Valley. It has an approachable layout that is versatile enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels. No two holes are alike but all of the greens and fairways share the same excellent conditions. Water has a prominent presence on this executive golf course with lakes and ponds running alongside many of the holes. The sloped greens are lightning fast and the fairways are tightly manicured. Beside the greens lurk treacherous sand traps that are just waiting to swallow errant shots. Although there are some tricky holes, the layout is gentle enough for beginners. It is an enjoyable and affordable round that offers excellent short game practice, no matter what skill level.

Some land, some water, lots of geese and squirrels!
Overall the course, although shorter, shorts 3s, 4s, no 5s. It is in great shape, well maybe because of all the rain? The price is getting up there with normal length courses and that saddens me, because why would I go to a short course rather than a championship course? For very similar money? The big advantage of DLB is a course to work on your accuracy and not monster drives..
Okay to get your short game back into shape
Short course but challenging greens. Pace can be and was an issue. Overall not a bad place to tune up your short game.

Great beginner course
Headed to Baker and had a surprisingly good round, this course is great for beginners. Only thing to note is pace of play is inconsistent, with many groups re-teeing constantly. Course was in good condition thanks to the rain, you can tell they just cut the grass. The golf carts are nice comfortable, compared to carts I’ve gotten in the past. Overall a great experience I even got my first birdie.

I golf every Easter there this time it was just over priced at 63 bucks
Good course for a quick 18 holes
I appreciate all the staff members there they are very helpful and friendly. I started playing golf with this course (great course for beginners), I come back often and always feel like home here
