David L. Baker Memorial Golf

The greens and grass were horrible for the cost. Yikes. Like playing a mud or sand lot. And usually conditions are fine. The price should have been reflected in tee times cost.

Course was been overseeded to revive fairways and was also very damp, both fairways and greens had really been watered. Greens very slow because of the over watering. It will help to bring grass back though as it has been a long, hot, dry summer.

We arrived 40mim prior to our tee time at 2:30pm on Sunday. At the check-in, we were told that the the Disc Golf tournament's time is behind so the guy at the desk gave us the free cart. That was great.

The last group of the Disk Golf cleared the #1 green around 3:30pm.

Upon the frustrated teeing off, we still had to wait almost each holes as we're golfing, and ahead of us were basically playing a "Frisbee".

At the hole #6, two groups were waiting ahead of us. It could cost us anther 20 to 30 min of waiting.

The three of us did not have any patience to wait so we decided to quit at the hole #6.

We complaint at the desk about this extremely terrible experience, but the guy at the desk gave us the credit without any fuss!

We were glad at least we received the credit to play an another day. (not that we liked the course)

The other player who joined us did not talk to the desk so he just lost his money.

Well, the course condition?? Not that great. There are many large dirt spots and large weeds on the fairway. The tee box conditions were pretty bad and the green had a lot of damages and diseases.

We won't be coming back without the credit check.

9/29 greens were pretty beat up in afternoon. no one repairs ball marks and uses rakes in traps. for late summer in pretty good condition.

Had to cancel literally hours before tee time for medical reasons, waiting on refund

Course is in very bad shape. Some tee boxes you cannot find a flat spot. Almost all you cannot find a grassy spot. If you miss the green, plan to hit off raw dirt. For $50 with cart, there are better options nearby. Also, extremely short course which some may like but be ready use driver just 5ish times in a round of 18. Also tight, probably saw (no joke) 20 balls on our holes that had been hit from others and left. Unfortunately this course is in really tough shape and was totally packed.

Always enjoy playing Baker, it's close to my house, affordable and the staff is very freindly.

Sure nice staff. They are always helpful and upbeat. Course is perfect for a quick 18.

Play here all the time. Perfect place to bring people who don’t golf. The pace of play is slow as rocks, the people playing have no etiquette, but the greens are pretty good I will say. Fairways and tee boxes look identical. Course is very small. For the price compared to other locations it isn’t worth it. You can play a course twice Bakers size for a few dollars more, heck some courses are way nicer, longer, and cheaper!

First time playing here. Teed of right on time at 6:45. There is a little paper sign staked on the ground near the 1st Tee. Pace a little slow on the front. Pace much better after the turn. As with most greens nowadays, players don't fix pitch marks. Fairways patchy. Seems pricey for a par 62 short course.

overall course in good shape, but the fairways have way too many brown areas or no grass at all. Drought is really

killing the fairways.
