About
The David L. Baker Golf Course is an affordable public course located in Fountain Valley. It has an approachable layout that is versatile enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels. No two holes are alike but all of the greens and fairways share the same excellent conditions. Water has a prominent presence on this executive golf course with lakes and ponds running alongside many of the holes. The sloped greens are lightning fast and the fairways are tightly manicured. Beside the greens lurk treacherous sand traps that are just waiting to swallow errant shots. Although there are some tricky holes, the layout is gentle enough for beginners. It is an enjoyable and affordable round that offers excellent short game practice, no matter what skill level.

ok course
short course. good for beginners. good for pratice

Course in decent shape for end of summer in CA, except for the bunkers. Bunkers were dried out and like playing off hard pan or cement. Pace of play was good.
Short Course but with water and traps.
Course is in good shape, but traps can be rock hard.... they need help... try to avoid. Greens are good but slow up hill. A lot of brown spots on greens... they affect a lot of puts.

Great round of golf. Pace of play was great. Finished in less then 3 hours. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Great for sharpening your short game.
Not crowded so play was quick. Fairways were decent but it seemed that nobody was fixing their ball marks on the greens except us. We tried to repair ours and at least one additional. We had a good day. A little breeze helped cool us down for it was a warm day.
The yardage of the course is long enough for us.
We like to play here because it is close to our home and in the heart of the city so it is nice to find a place to eat after we done playing golf.
Challenging course for beginners and intermediate players, greens are challenging but not in good shape.
Love to play here every Tuesday ,sometimes more! Staff is great, friendly ,informative ,funny and driving ranges good shape and accommodating.
A Nice Starter hoop for young kids
Great course if you want to get a round of golf in. Great beginning course as well for new golfers.

This course although short it always challenging when you have several options to play several holes

This course had a good layout but the greens had a lot of divots. Looks like no o e repairs anything there and the pace of play was very very slow waiting on every hole up to two group waiting time.
I love the course
This is the best course for the money and it is quite challenging. Ray is very attentive to players .

Played this course on Sunday and it is in horrible shape. The tee boxes,fairways, and greens are all horrible. My front yard is in better shape. It seems like management has let the course go but continue to raise prices.
