David L. Baker Memorial Golf
About
The David L. Baker Golf Course is an affordable public course located in Fountain Valley. It has an approachable layout that is versatile enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels. No two holes are alike but all of the greens and fairways share the same excellent conditions. Water has a prominent presence on this executive golf course with lakes and ponds running alongside many of the holes. The sloped greens are lightning fast and the fairways are tightly manicured. Beside the greens lurk treacherous sand traps that are just waiting to swallow errant shots. Although there are some tricky holes, the layout is gentle enough for beginners. It is an enjoyable and affordable round that offers excellent short game practice, no matter what skill level.

Dad Miller Sunday
We play here often, last Sunday we booked a 9:00 tee time. We showed at 8:50 ready and was told we were the last tee before a junior PGA event starts at 9:30 when we got ready to start they added 3 more behind us. Well Iguess they were having a Senior couples event just ahead of us also, ended up with a 4-1/2 round nearly an hour longer than normal. The group ahead of us had 3 open holes by the end of the day.
First time
Nice course beautiful fairways, greens recently aerated but rough, still a very good course
Fun course. Well taken care of. Really enjoyed playing there. Will be back.
Pace of play is terrible.
I'm an intermediate golfer. This course is kept up well, greens and fairways are great! Though the pace of play is horrible. About 90% of the time you're waiting for every shot or if you wait to tee off till the group in front of you is done then you'll be waiting at every tee box. It's great for the price you pay when using GolfNow. If you were to pay what the originally charge, then it wouldn't be worth it at all. Again, the pace of play is terrible.
Good for beginners.
I'm an intermediate golfer, my handicap is 15. This course is kept up well, greens and fairways are great! Though the pace of play is horrible. This isn't my first time playing this course, and about 90% of the time you're waiting for every shot or if you wait to tee off till the group in front of you is done then you'll be waiting at every tee box. It is not a challenging course by any means, but it's great for the price you pay when using GolfNow. If you were to pay what the originally charge, then it wouldn't be worth it at all. Again, the pace of play is terrible.
Had a good time
Not a bad course at all. Picked up a Hot Deal on Golf Now for $24 each so it was a very good value. Wide open fairways on the Par 4s. Pretty well maintained. Limited elevation changes. Not really any forced carries. Good beginner/intermediate course. We got behind some slower players but it wasn't the worst I've experienced. It's local and for the money, we'll be back.
A Deal Too Good to Refuse
Great golf at an incredible price. Reasonably good pace of play. Good practice for short game.
Love it
From the first person that greets you to the price for the round this place is awesome. Love playing here
This course needs a lot of tlc
Played on a Sunday with my wife and grandson (2 seniors and a junior), all relatively good golfers. There had been a heavy wind on Saturday so a lot of debris on the course. On a 10 scale, I would rate the fairways a 5., greens are about a 3 or 4, and the sand traps needed a lot of attention. The practice green was a 1, and the driving range is O.K., but no tees for the artificial mats. The course is very tight with fairways lined up beside each other, a lot of "FOREs being heard. It was convenient, but I doubt that we go back, even at half the price.
From a First timer
I am completely new to golf and the staff here were friendly enough.
Always have a good time at David L
