About
Situated along the Ventura Harbor overlooking the Santa Clara River, Olivas Links (formerly known as Olivas Park Golf Course) enjoys coastal breezes that make it cool in the summer and warm in the winter, providing perfect conditions for golf year-round. The golf course has a links-style layout that closely follows the natural swales and curves of the landscape and separated by bands of fescue and wild grasses. The course is mostly open but there are some large pine trees scattered throughout. Its seaside location subjects the golf course to strong winds, especially on the front nine. The challenging layout offers multi-tiered greens and contoured mounding along the fairways. There are also deep bunkers strategically placed throughout Olivas Links, but the openness of the course places a stronger emphasis on hitting the right spot on the fairway or getting the correct angle of approach to the green rather than avoiding the bunkers.

Amazing Course
Hidden Gem in the Southern California area. Course was in amazing shape and a very fair course. Really enjoyed it and would make the drive again.
In great shape
The course is in great shape and with the cooler temperatures of Oxnard makes for a fabulous day of golfing.
Nice Links Style Course
Olivas is a nice links style track. Good conditions (although some greens had too many un-repaired ball marks). Fairways were in excellent shape.
Carpeting
The course was in excellent shape, the tee boxes wee even and clean, fairways were like carpet and the greens were clean, true but still challenging.
Strong B plus/ A minus conditions. The course was wet and damp so there were some fat sloppy shots and the players need to do a better job fixing there divots and one additional it would be a strong A.
Staff is friendly and honest. Left a speaker in the cart and they had returned it to the pro shop. Integrity counts in golf, thanks

Ok
The problem I have with your app is several things
1. My twosome was for me and my 8 year old grandson 75 dollars for an 8 yr old Absurd!
2. River ridge has two courses you do not specify which course u get to play
3. It’s actually cheaper using the golf course web site
An overall great value
Not overly challenging... Not overly difficult...Yet a pleasurable round and definitely worth the visit.
Course is in very good shape & well maintained.
Tough to beat on price, that's for certain.
Drove 55 miles one-way to try out this course and would definitely do it all over again !
Very well maintained
Vibrant fairways, semi-slow greens (no biggie), and perfectly soft sand. For the price it's tough to beat
