Olivas Links Golf Course
About
Situated along the Ventura Harbor overlooking the Santa Clara River, Olivas Links (formerly known as Olivas Park Golf Course) enjoys coastal breezes that make it cool in the summer and warm in the winter, providing perfect conditions for golf year-round. The golf course has a links-style layout that closely follows the natural swales and curves of the landscape and separated by bands of fescue and wild grasses. The course is mostly open but there are some large pine trees scattered throughout. Its seaside location subjects the golf course to strong winds, especially on the front nine. The challenging layout offers multi-tiered greens and contoured mounding along the fairways. There are also deep bunkers strategically placed throughout Olivas Links, but the openness of the course places a stronger emphasis on hitting the right spot on the fairway or getting the correct angle of approach to the green rather than avoiding the bunkers.

Morning back 9 is a great value
The layout and conditions are excellent. Played the 7 am back 9 in 90 minutes on a Sunday and loved it.
Club up one for the heavy air that early in the morning.
Golfnow price Includes bagel and coffee.
Classic Links Course
Classic Links course! Overall a great value for a public course! Excellent practice facilities. Prevailing coastal wind can play havoc on your round! Forces you to use a variety ofclubs! Smooth true greens! Unfortunately due to drought no water on course so u can play out of hazard@
Beautiful day Beautiful round
U always get a breeze but today was just magnificent. Just enough to keep you cool and play on a course that was in great shape. Tee boxes, fairways to greens. All in excellent shape. Front 9 in 2 hrs. A little slower on the back but still not bad
Awesome links course. Except for the slow foursome before us everything was perfect
Olivas play
Greens a little bumpy, beautiful day, hooked up with 3 other singles and had a great time. Course in excellent condition !!
Top condition
What a great golf course, fairways, greens, even the bunkers are great. Pace of play was good for a Sunday.
Great Course
0628 tee time paired with a great threesome, POP 3 hrs 45 minutes. Course is in fantastic shape, lush everything, great value. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend it.
Almost...
Almost everything about Olivas Links is very good except for the bathrooms!
A summertime jewel!
This course I well kept and nice & cool during the sweltering summer heat. The course will challenge your game giving you different angles and undulations. The box, fairways & greens are outstanding! I have yet to recommend this course to a friend or acquaintance who didn’t thank me. Give it a try, you’ll be back!
Great course
I love Olivas Links. The practice facilities are the best in the area. I practice there a couple of times a week. The course is always in great shape and the staff are very friendly.
Great course and conditions
It was warm with very high humidity on Saturday. Everything was good except for 2 things:
1. practice greens were small punched
2. tee'd off about 15 minutes late.
Best in tri county
Was a member at Wood Ramch, Sunset and Moorpark, but Olivas is as good if not better than most so-called private clubs.
Slow play can be improved though.
Greens too slow however, by comparison that is.
Great value over-all
Tx.
Great deal on golf now nice course pace of play was perfect greens are fast excellent time at golf course
Fun course that offers challenges
I Play from the whites so the course was short but still challenging missing the fairway brings you into some very tough rough they were also variable winds that can create a problem figuring out distances greens are easy to read but not necessarily too large Overall I had a great time and will definitely play here again by the way it is a very busy course but the rate of play was pretty good
Hidden gem
Fairways and greens are always kept in great shape. The staff is always friendly and you can't beat the location. Green fees are very good, considering what you get. If they had a clubhouse I'm sure the fees would go up.
