Olivas Links Golf Course

I started at 3:45. Played as a single. Paired with another. Played 18 holes by 7 o clock. Course was absolutely perfect. Greens held nicely. Golf ball stayed true to its line. Fairways were groomed so well I thought I was hitting off carpet. Stay in the fairway and go right at the pins. Excellent day. Bring your A game for this truly masterful layout.

This course is on my list from 1 to 10 ,a ten. The course is in a supreme condition. I can wait until play again.

Beautiful course fairways and greens were excellent, only complaint a college golf team came out unscheduled which backed up tee times by 30 minutes Amusing a 5 hour 45 minute round

According to various sources throughout the day, there were multiple events booked same day. Took nearly 3-1/2 hours to get through the front 9...after another 30 minutes to get through hole 11 it was time to call it a day. Was hard to stay motivated with (at times) 15-20 minute breaks between holes. Not quite sure about wanting to go back...hear the pace of play is much better during the week (which conflicts with work and other commitments), so I suppose we shall see.

On a lighter note, the weather was great and the course looked really nice.

Love this course and the people who work there are incredibly friendly!

2nd time playing this course. Best to play early, strong ocean winds in the afternoon. Course is in great condition. Pro shop staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Olivas is a great links course. The fairways & greens are outstanding. The course is challenging with give & takes. If you’re looking to get away from the heat in the valley, Olivas is a good deal.

I love this course and play atleast once a month but if you get stuck behind a slow group drinking and hacking it in the weeds they will do nothing. Instead I’m told “there’s nowhere for them to go” yet the group in front of the hackers is almost always on the green or the next tee box.

Otherwise beautiful course with great greens. Good putting practice area and driving range.

This course is always on my list for the year and for good reason. It's usually in good shape and a very nice layout. This time was actually the exception in a good way. The course is in really good shape with the greens on the manageable/fast speed. Fairways and tee boxes in great shape. It also helped that the weather despite the wind was beautiful. I almost booked for next week, but there are other courses waiting to be played. Have a good time.

Favorite VC course. Fairways a dream to hit from. I’d play here daily if I could!
