Greens were aerated but not terrible. Enjoyed the round.

The course is a little far from Charlotte, but well worth the drive in my opinion. The course was fun yet challenging at times; I would highly recommend. Only negatives I experienced were the green were about a week aerated, yet the staff did not mention this at all, and the pace of play was a little slower. I would recommend the course communicate to its customers if the course is being aerated, and have the tee times be a little more spread out from each other, maybe 10-12 minutes apart instead of only 8 minutes.

Great course. Elevation changes will challenge your club choices. Greens were punched, but still rolled well. Recommend playing.

Not sure why every time I play it’s no carts on the course or 90 degrees. The course was in fine condition but you can’t drive out on any holes. Did anyone even check the course. There was no need to be no carts all day…We play here twice a week and every other week you can’t drive on the holes due to spray.

Great course and in great condition. If this course was remotely close to and interstate or highway....I would give 5 stars. This course is literally built in the middle, and I do mean middle of nowhere.

Layout, greens, staff and value were fantastic!

Bunkers need some work/upkeep, especially around the edges...lots of grass running into the bunkers, so edges were grown up. Range balls were below average quality, but other than those few things it was a great track!

Have been in the area and found this course by searching on the Internet. I was pleasantly surpirsed by what I found. Driving in I was concerned since it was in the middle of nowhere. As I approached the property I was pleased to see plantings and workers working on the entrance to make it look nice. Upon checking in and heading to the first tee I discovered a course in great condition and great variety of holes. Far from a boring track, each hole brought some unique play into the game. While there was ample fairway any wide slice or snap hook could result in trouble but it was very fair. The greens were very nice although there were more ball marks than there should be. I was told they were aerating soon so perhaps that's why there were many unrepaired marks on the greens.

All in all, a great course to visit. I would recommend it.

I have been wanting to get to Edgewater for a while now, finally got to.

Very nice course, they did mention they don't normally allow walkers, but there were not many tee times immediately after me so they allowed me to head out.

I got around in about 3 hours, I found it an enjoyable course to walk, but many with knee issues or general breathing stressers may have difficulty. The cart path was immaculate so for those who can ride, it's a nice ride.

The course itself was great, balanced and challenging. The greens were receptive, young, but will mature into some spectacular highlights. I have nothing even slightly negative to mention about my experience, it was a great day.

This course is a definite "must play" for those in the region.

Need to space out the tee times as they are only 8 minutes apart. Had to wait on every hole. Took almost 6 hours to play the round. Other than that no complaints. One of the nicest and well maintained public courses in the Charlotte area.

This has quickly become one of my favorite places to play in the Charlotte area. Great layout, fabulous bent greens and tranquil wooded environment all make this course one to check out. Multiple tee boxes provide good variety for any level of play. Don’t let the yardage from the blues fool you…it’s plenty of golf course from there. Gold and black tees should be reserved for really big hitters.

You wanna put hair on your chest? Go play this course. It will expose you. Have you shaking on the box begging for mercy.

Bent grass greens very soft and slow but the course is surrounded by woods and close to the lake. No houses to mess up the beautiful natural areas. Course has a lot of elevation changes which gives you even better views. It is worth the drive from Columbia or Charlotte. From the championship tees the course is long and hard. Can’t wait to play again

The course would be excellent if not for all the pitch marks on the greens. Take an extra club on your approach shots because the majority of them are uphill and the ball is not rolling forward.

Played there on a rainy day. The course and greens were in really good shape. The bunkers are phenomenal! Loved it and will visit again soon.
