About
Edgewater Golf Club has a peaceful setting tucked away in Lancaster. The course feels completely secluded with a layout that tumbles across rolling hills covered with a blanket of matures trees. The terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing the layout with dramatic elevation changes and plenty of water. In addition to the natural hazards, there are numerous strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. An abundance of wildlife also calls the golf course home, so don't be surprised if you see deer or turkeys roaming the course. One of Edgewater Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-4 seventh. This tricky hole is a downhill dogleg left that forces you to drive right-center of the fairway, followed by a tough approach to a green that sits on the bank above Fishing Lake Creek.

Great course over crowded, stacked tee times
Love the course. But when you have a 9:16 tee time. Tee off at 9:35 and don’t finish first nine u til after 12pm is kind of frustrating. I get golf takes time but seriously they should spread out tee times a bit and encourage pace of play.
Great course
The layout is challenging but fair. The greens are in great shape and the value of exceptional. I will surely make the drive down to play it again.

Great layout and fantastic conditions
Played with a buddy! The tee boxes fairways and greens were top notch. Greens were well maintained and rolled quickly but not lightning fast. Every time I play here I’m reminded of the creativity of the layout! Beautiful holes with several elevated tee boxes. The course mixes up hole lengths that will leave you playing every club in the bag! A few penalizing bunkers and elevated greens make course management fun. Great track!

Greens almost fully recovered
Greens are good and getting better after being punched a few weeks ago. Fairways need to green up and currently offer tight lies. Clubhouse is minimal. Range is good. A good value but a long drive for me.

Edgewater April 4
Outstanding layout. Greens were good, rough and tee boxes not up to par yet. Would expect the course to be a 5 star once the grass starts growing.

Excellent course
All around an awesome course to play. I’ve played here twice almost a year apart and both times the conditions were very exceptional. Fairways, rough, bunkers, tee boxes and greens all so pure. I’ll always recommend this place to anyone in the area or close by

Aerated green
The reason for low rating was because they aerated the greens and never I said never told us. I’ve been playing golf for over 30 years and pretty much every course is always told us matter fact they would put a discount down for the day and explained to us that they aerated and gave us the opportunity the choice to make whether we wanted to play or not and they never did and still charge us $57 and that is a complete joke you can’t putt on aerated greens as all golfers now and for that they took our money

Gem in the woods
As of right now the course has no houses beside a few that you can see across some of the lakes away from the course. It great to find a course that you can play and feel like your away from civilization. You can see the ground work for house in the future so get out and place this course before they start building. Course is challenging from the blues but easy enough if you can play a fairly straight ball. You use every club in the bag. Clubhouse is clean and the practice areas great.

Great course
Even with pouched greens the course was outstanding. Ball still rolled true. Very wet due to large amounts of rain the day before but the course drained well. Cart path only the day I played. Well worth the money.
