About
Edgewater Golf Club has a peaceful setting tucked away in Lancaster. The course feels completely secluded with a layout that tumbles across rolling hills covered with a blanket of matures trees. The terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing the layout with dramatic elevation changes and plenty of water. In addition to the natural hazards, there are numerous strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. An abundance of wildlife also calls the golf course home, so don't be surprised if you see deer or turkeys roaming the course. One of Edgewater Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-4 seventh. This tricky hole is a downhill dogleg left that forces you to drive right-center of the fairway, followed by a tough approach to a green that sits on the bank above Fishing Lake Creek.

Wait for the grass....
The greens were terrific. In fact they were green! The rest of the course was brown. No overseeding made a beautiful golf course look like a very bad muni.
Still a great layout but such a shame to see it look like it does.

Natural, quiet and fun
Always a great time on this course. Good layout, big greens, some elevation changes and always in great shape. A little far away from everything but priced to make up for it. People working here are always friendly and I always see a great blue heron or two on the course.

Great day
Edgewater always has a good pace of play. February - very wet, but expected without warm temps yet this year. Mix of challenging holes but two good shots and you have some chances for birdies. Each time I have played there - golfers are courteous and paired up with some good folks.

Was wet, red mud everywhere. Greens were in good shape will say that.

Staff was amazing. The course is great. I played in extremely wet conditions but the course was still in great shape!!

Sunny chilly Saturday, way too wet
Cart path only, understandable and has been a wet week. If I ran the course I probably wouldn’t have even let people out. I love the layout and in prime season this course is in great shape! Greens were fair and rolled well but anything else was so wet and muddy it was hard to even make clean contact or find a dry spot to hit from.

Course in great shape for winter
Greens have held up nice for winter conditions. I have played here several times and it doesn’t disappoint. I always play on the weekends and the pace is always steady. No complaints. Great course
