About
Edgewater Golf Club has a peaceful setting tucked away in Lancaster. The course feels completely secluded with a layout that tumbles across rolling hills covered with a blanket of matures trees. The terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing the layout with dramatic elevation changes and plenty of water. In addition to the natural hazards, there are numerous strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. An abundance of wildlife also calls the golf course home, so don't be surprised if you see deer or turkeys roaming the course. One of Edgewater Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-4 seventh. This tricky hole is a downhill dogleg left that forces you to drive right-center of the fairway, followed by a tough approach to a green that sits on the bank above Fishing Lake Creek.

Greens were awesome
This is the best I have seen this course. I have played many times. The only improvement could be the bunkers. No rakes, they use to have rakes mounted in the carts, but not today. Still a 5 star day.

Beautiful but slow
We enjoy playing Edgewater. The course is always in great condition and it's a beautiful layout. But, because of the great weather, it was crowded which was no surprise. Unfortunately, we were behind a group that stayed 2 holes behind practically the entire round. There is no ranger on course and the starter made no mention of keeping pace. It would be nice for players to be informed and understand pace of play... then keep up!

Great course!
It’s a great course with wide fairways. Some challenges as to sand and water but can avoid trouble by playing smart. Will play again.

Great course for fair price
Fun course for a standard $50 round. Greens were just aerated and are very fast, but very well taken care offend true. Overall the course was a little brown but that will change with warm spring weather and some rain. Pace of play was perfect, never rushed from another group and never had to wait on anyone. Good length holes, tee boxes were pretty nice for most, some nice water features/hazards and fun course layout. Giving this spot a 8.5/10 and I think it will only get better when it warms up and gets some color back to it.
