Do yourself a favor and play this course you won’t be disappointed. About an hr drive for me and it was well worth the drive, especially with the very reasonable fees for how nice the course is. Hope to be back soon.

I started playing golf in 1975 have have played very few public courses that rival this. Layout, condition, pace of play, staff, practice facilities were all outstanding. I will look to this course first for tee times. Can't wait to go back, my new favorite---hands down.

Everything was great, especially greens and fairways. All of the elevation changes make for such a picturesque course.

Third time playing out here, and I must say it never disappoints! The layout was challenging but fair. All of the fairways, rough, tee boxes, and bunkers were well maintained. Then there is the greens. The beautiful and rare bent grass, which were PERFECT. Not too fast, and true as can be. The were soft enough to where any player could hold the greens. Also, my cousin and I got a real kick out of the yardage books they give you. They contain well-animated overviews and a poetic description of each hole that made you well informed and excited to play. I have been trying to break 80 for about a year and I finally got it together here with a 78! Had to leave with a shirt a hat with their brand on it. Could not recommend a course highly enough. Thanks Edgewater!

Everyone should take the time and go play this course in Lancaster. It’s a beautiful layout in great condition. The greens have come in perfectly.

Great place to play, course in very good conditions and pace of play is very good.

I love playing this course. A little bit off the map in terms of location, but it's worth it. Flew through the front 9 in1.5 hours, but lost time on the back 9 due to one foursome. My suggestion would be to have the ranger be more active on the back nine. Still finished at 4 hours, but it was a wait for everyone shot on the backing.

Enjoyed course ....nice practice facilities .... middle of nowhere but totally worth the drive every hole is a nice design... probably need to tee it up at teal tees to start because it plays longer than yardages but definitely have scoring opportunities.... yardage book provided and overall enjoyable experience at edgewater look forward to playing again

Coming from Canada, and was recommended by an employee at the Wells Fargo Tourney, I was not overly pleased with the condition of the course, many rough areas, to unplayable areas... Although , it may be because of the season...

What a wonderful course with a fun, challenging layout - multiple tees to choose from, nice variety of hole designs, and some elevation changes. Course was in great condition. Tremendous value!

Not sure if it’s the views or the scoring opportunities that will avail themselves with good ball striking, or the absolute feeling of being on a old school golf course, but with new era distance golf course! What a treat course is marked extremely well for those of us without rangefinders, yardage book for free to give all the information you need to make informative decision on your play and great staff that’s extremely welcoming when you enter the pro shop! The question is not if I’ll go back, but when!

This course is always nice to play. The greens were pretty fast today. Fairways are in good shape. Fast round. I would recommend this course.

This course consistently proves Itself worthy of the 45 minute drive down from Charlotte. Love the routing and the mix of holes. Conditions were great. Just a couple of bunkers washed out from recent rains. Otherwise they were in good condition, with the proper amount of sand. Greens were fast but held approach shots well. Rolled very true. Can’t wait to get back down there.

Nice layout and undisturbed course. Worth the drive from Charlotte, play here often even though there are many courses closer.

Decent course. Greens were airfield and we had no idea until the 1st green. Would have appreciated the heads up.

Showed up as a 3 sum and got paired with a single. Friendly grouping, but would prefer not to be paired with the single. We traveled over and hit to play this track. We’ we’re all 10 or less handicaps and we’re told the course was booked and they needed to put this guy with us. Total BS. There was 3+ open times right behind us, and we had to let a two sum play through because of HOW SLOW we were with the single they paired us with. Guy didn’t break 150 and didn’t know when to pick it up. Great day but was ruined by the staff force pairing us with a single. Not sure if this would be classified as the staffs fault or the singles lack of self awareness. Regardless, I will not be playing this course anytime soon.

Not the courses fault but it was definitely too wet to play today. The fairways are suffering from the rain fall and run off but the greens were actually in good condition. I love this course and will always come back, the staff are super friendly, and contacted us when they found my husbands sunglasses in the cart. Looking forward to the better weather and playing when the bunkers are repaired!

I’m a 10-12 handicap. I shot an 88 and this is a very challenging course. We played in cold weather about 45 degrees and the greens were in great shape and faster than most I’ve played this time of year. I think the toughest hole is the #6 double dog leg par 5. Most holes are slopes with up and down shots to the greens. If you want a challenge try this course. The layout is beautiful, scenic and it will surely test your game with every club in your bag. Book it and test your game!
