Edgewater is in great shape. Greens are rolling quick. Would be phenomenal greens if people fixed there ball marks.....

Course is in good shape. Greens were not great only because of ball marks not repaired and greens were little hairy. Overall, friendly staff, great layout and enjoyable pace of play. I enjoy this course every time I play it !

Beautiful course along the Catawba river, extremely friendly staff. Beautiful views and nice lay out, must play!!

I'll Give This Rating in sections:

Amenities: The Pro Club is not exactly a Pro Club although it gets the job done. They have the normal products but you can tell there is always an actual professional available. A good thing to have at any course.

Course: The only negative I have about this course is the color. That's all I can actually find as a negative. The course should be way more photographic than it is but Edgewaters' best holes seem a little dry. The course itself is manicured to great lengths, even while playing the groundskeepers were working but still retaining golf etiquette and allowing everyone to play comfortably. The rough is actually a rough length cut, lush enough to be difficult to hit out of, an actual punishment of missing the fairway. The greens are normal Bermuda, but the greens don't have too much slope so are pretty simple to read.

Layout: The layout is where this course shines. The trees line nearly every hole. The starter told me that once you start playing you'll never see another group the entire round. He was not lying, it seems like you're the only group playing and that means from sight and sound. A really well designed well layout makes this a great golfing experience.

Overall: This place is a hidden gem and I mean hidden, after a few turns you get way out on some strange and winding roads but it's worth the drive. Their value is less expensive than what this course is worth compared to higher price courses around the same quality. If you don't play here you're doing yourself a tragedy, will definitely be returning.

Played to day and the course is in great condition. Fairways great greens great but fast

Played a Hot Deal on a Sunday as a threesome pace of play was excellent! Greens are wonderful keeping the scores low staff was very friendly great day of Golf highly recommend playing here!

Fabulous course!! Every bit worth the drive, fantastic greens friendly staff. Only negative and it’s a small inconvenience is at the turn you have to go a ways back to the clubhouse for hotdog.

Great course and staff . We had a storm about to start when we made the turn . Told us to take a rain check and saved us from the bad weather.

Always a pleasure to play. Great track, really good shape, greens rolling true. Hand made signs of Cart Path only are ridiculous, degrades a nice course .

The bunkers have beautiful new white sand but they need to be packed down and compressed. The sand is so loose, the ball sinks and disappears - so do your feet!

The Starter needs to understand if you send out five singles in a row with the first guy being the slowest, you're gonna wind up with four very dissatisfied customers.

Hidden is the operative word. In the middle of nowhere, but worth the 90 minute drive each way. Only minus is sparse amenities and no circulating beverage cart.
