Edgewater Golf Club

Fun, spacious layout. Picturesque views, pine framed fairways, and great elevation changes. Bent grass greens were very receptive. Loved the property and look forward to completed clubhouse and practice area. I played it tipped out at just over 7100 yards, fun to play a couple par 3s that were over 230. Ball seemed to travel a long way with speedy fairways. Gas carts to contend with the hills were very nice, spacious and nice layout. I will definitely be back ... soon.

This course is Amazing! I truly love playing here. The greens were in rough shape. The pace of play was reasonable. The great food on the turn without going to the Clubhouse was always a delight! If you haven’t played this course u should. Hate the on 18 !! Enjoy!!lol🤣🤣

Not as bad as it was a couple of months ago but most greens take actual skill to putt out of the game. The ball bounces and hops and there are bad spots in too many places. Also the rough directly beside the green is too high. You can walk right over your ball and never see it because its buried. Hoping one day it will return to the condition it used to be but as for now, skip it.

Everything was great except the greens had been aerated. Very bumpy. Either need more sand or they need to be rolled. The rest of the course is in great shape.

Played here for the first time in several years, the new clubhouse will be ready soon! Friendly staff, fairways in great condition, cold water stops every few holes - punched greens were a bit bumpy but to be expected. Only downsides: long drive to the clubhouse for lunch and the driving range looks like a field on the Serengeti. Really enjoyed our round and can't wait to come back.

Haven't played this course in a few months and hoped they might had improved it but still a mess. Greens are pathetic. Putting is all but useless since you have no idea which way the ball will roll, hop or jump. This course went from our favorite in the Charlotte area to one of the worst in a short period of time and that is a real shame. Tons of construction going on everywhere which is distracting and unsightly too. My advice, just skip this one with hopes that one day they will restore it to its former shape.

Greens were punched last week and are still bumpy. Fairways are in good shape. I love the layout.

Course was great except the greens are not in good condition. Some greens are hardly playable, but the fairways and tee boxes were in great shape.
