Peak Condition
Lake Chesdin is really in peak condition right now. Greens especially are probably the best they have looked all year.
Another good round
Course was in good shape. Greens, fairways and tee boxes were nice. Rough has a 1st and 2nd cut and can be hard to find balls that settle down in it.
Pace of play was good. Staff at pro shop are always nice. Restaurant was open and staff there were very friendly as well.
Getting worse
Bare patches on almost all the greens. With all the rain we have had the fairways should have been in better condition. Pace of play is getting worse every time I go. Unresponsive staff. Last time here.

I love playing at chesdin the rain made it a bit harder, but still great. Course was well manicured! I appreciate the greens keepers! Thanks guys!

Great course, thats not the most difficult, i really enjoy lake chesdin!! The staff cool af the pro was talking to some one and explained swing path and a few other things that helped me play well. It was raining over the first 9 but cleared. Still one of my favorite courses in RVA area!!

Good layout, difficult but fun course. Good conditioning despite hot and dry weather

Lake Chesdin Golf Club
Great place to play! Course conditions were excellent, carts were basically new, pace of play was perfect, and the staff was very friendly. It was an all a round great experience, and I forgot to mention it was over 100deg as we made the turn. They had ice cold water coolers every few holes to help with that too, a nice touch. Will be playing again soon!

COURSE WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FROM TEE TO GREEN AND THE GREENS WERE FAST AND TRUE !
PACE OF PLAY WAS GOOD. NEVER PUSHED BY A GROUP BEHIND US NOR DID WE PUSH THE GROUP IN FRONT OF US.
STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND THE BRAND NEW CART WAS A PLUS :)

Premium Course
The course condition was perfect. The fairways are lush where you can take a nice divot. The greens are one of the best in the Richmond area. I love this course. I did not stop by the grill so I cannot make comments about the off course amenities.
