Lake Chesdin Golf Club

Almost always a great place to play. Fairways were a bit thin but playable. Greens were nice and good speed. Greens are very undulating and tough to putt. A couple pin positions were a little suspect. Bunkers were ok, could use some TLC.

Pace of play was very slow, I think due to the group in front of us. My 2some was joined by another 2some and they were not good golfers. That is not a problem but when they are hitting 4-10 shots to get to the green and then 1-5 putts on the green without any regard for pace, that is a problem. The funny, not funny thing is we were still having short waits on many of the holes in this 5:25 hour round. I felt really bad about the group(s) behind us. As much as I enjoy Lake Chesdin, this ruined the round for me.

Very good experience. Cold and windy day but had the course to myself. Course very decent for winter conditions. Nice carts but rough cart paths. Nice layout and can tell it is very nice in season.

I liked the course layout and was in decent shape except for the greens had just been aerorated. The group in front of us had three carts which slowed things up a bit but overall it was a good value. I wish they would space tee times out a little.

This course is always a pleasure to play. Played after rain and the only issue was range was closed due to rain. Really should consider relocating the range or raising level as it will always flood because of the lower elevation. All in all course was great to play as always.

Like Chesden is a nice layout with good pace of play even with carts restricted to golf bath due to the wet conditions. Greens were recently punched which made them inconsistent. Friendly staff and ground crew.
