The Club At Viniterra

If this was right in the city I would be there every week. Took me about 20 minutes to get there from the Fan in Richmond. Each hole is different, difficult second-shot golf course. Every time I play the greens are smooth and fast, which is why I keep coming back. Thanks to the attendant who gave me a cart in the parking lot. Friendly Pro when I checked in too!

Viniterra is wide open. You can play as far back as you want. The course is designed for fun, but scoring chances will be hard to come by if you can’t stick it on the greens. All the greens are guarded by bunkers, with each bunker having a different grade of fluffiness (or hardness). Unless the practice range bunker is freshly raked, you may not want to base your sand shots on it. Still, it is a great course with a great staff!

the course is always in good shape , with the greens in nice condition and the leaves all blown off the course. Only area for improvement is the bunkers are not consistent (and they are everywhere) . Always nice people who play here as well.

Nice course for the time of the year. Greens are fast and hard. Fairways are dormant but in good shape. Make sure you check your tee preference. Long for average to novice golfers - play a tee up and you will enjoy the round. Waiting for the clubhouse to be built - been some time now. Clubhouse is a double-wide trailer but good enough for golf. There is no full service clubhouse but plans are to build soon. Play here it's worth it.

Normally the course condition is great; however, traps need attention. Same issue about 3 weeks ago.

This is a great golf course that I have played before and make it a yearly destination when I have to visit my in-laws in Richmond over Thanksgiving. Would recommend this course to anyone in the Richmond area

It was the end of the season. Yet, the fairways and greens were in excellent shape. The course was not as difficult as I'd been led to believe, but bunkers abound, so one must have their sandbox and chipping game in order. There was plenty of water stationed around the course, but alas, no beer cart. I'd have played much better with one or two down the gullet. Very nice course for the money. I'll be playing here again.

Overall good however too many leaves. Greens had too many leaves especially! Very hilly and difficult when cart path only.

Very well kept very scenic very challenging would recommend it to everyone

We have wanted to play this course for years. When we saw the itbon golf now fir less than 50 dollars And the weather forecast was good it was a no brainier!

First impression was oh oh! Gravel cart paths. But after visiting the clubhouse, Joe, the assistant golf pro, put us at ease and explained the course layout to us. We had a great day of golf on a beautiful course. One of the nicest in the area so far. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to play there again and will keep my eyes peeled for the next great rate. Thanks golf now.

Challenging layout with quality greens and bunkers. The greens were firm, fast and rolling true.

Slow play at start. An hour to play 3 holes. Ranger passed but not moving anyone along.

The greens rolled very smooth. Better than any of the course in the area. The overall condition of the course is very good and it’s an OK layout. My only criticism would be that three of the par three’s look very similar to each other. The layout is not as spectacular as what I would expect on Rees Jones course.

Let us start Their was no food service I could find. if you needed coffee or anything hot it was not available. water was only available on the course in tanks that I would not draw from. There are no ruffs only very tight fairways. IF I was selling the homes lots available around the course this operation would be a negative. I will never return and I will tell my friends not to waste their money
