Schaumburg Golf Club - Tournament/Players Course
About
Schaumburg Golf Club is a 27-hole layout that has hosted the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments as well as numerous other events since it first opened in 1928. The course is divided into three nines: the Tournament, Players, and Baer. Each course has a different character but one characteristic they all have is the undulating terrain. All three golf courses also boast well manicured tees, greens, and fairways. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Tournament/Players course features the most water of the three combinations. The par-4 fifth hole on the Tournament nine has a particularly tricky forced carry over a large pond. In addition to the golf courses, Schaumburg has a practice facility that includes a driving range and two putting greens.

The Best Value in Chicagaoland
Simply put, the Schaumburg Golf Club and it's three 9-hole courses that rotate between 18 and 9-hole setups is amazing for the prices they charge. You're only out about $25-30 to walk 9 with push cart on most days for being a non-Schaumburg resident. 18 holes with cart is about $50-60 which is quite reasonable considering how expensive many courses are in the Chicago area.
For example, nearby Mount Prospect Golf Club is nearly $70 on weekend with cart that will likely be a 5+ hour journey to go through 18 holes, circus style greens, and horrible conditions where balls bounce and spin much more than they should. For $50/60 you will get great conditions on the fairway, challenging setups from the bunkers to pin locations, and fast greens where everything feels fair at the end. It's not cheesy and cheap unlike other courses, and it won't overcharge you either.
This club is easily one of the best in all of the Chicago region.
Amazing
Great course, slightly short but beautifully kept.
Top Notch Golf Course
Overall experience is excellent as usual at Schaumburg Golf Club
Good for the area
Mostly in good condition. Greens a bit beat up but there was just an outing just got off the course.
Layout and value similar to other options in the area
Beat greens in the area
The course is in great shape. Nice soft sand in the traps, and IMO, the best greens in the suburbs.
Nice Round
This was a very surprising round. The course is in very good condition. It's a solid layout for a public course. Also the 3 nine hole option with the potential for variety in the 18 is novel. I would come back.
Beautiful Course
The course is pristine besides a few bumpy greens. Restaurant on site makes high quality food at reasonable prices
Nice track
Schaumburg golf course has always been a good place to play no it’s a great place to place and they renovated 039 I love playing there I just was Wish the senior rate was a little bit lower in price
Rain
It rained. I had to cancel and getting a refund is not possible. Tee Off and Golf Now are getting worse every year.
