Bamburgh Castle Golf Club

The course condition was disappointing for the green fee. Having played Bamburgh for over 30 years I was quite surprised with the state of the tees and greens and if I didn't know better I'd say the course looked in need of some rest. This didn't spoil our day as the greeting from members, house and greens staff was fantastic! I know the course will improve and I'll be back as soon as I can.

Great course. Different challenges in every hole. Course signage a bit sketchy . Easy to take a wrong turn

If u love a challenge this is the course for you loads of elevation changes fantastic par 3s beautiful views after the soaking of last week still in great condition firm greens running well

It was a shame there was only 10 holes in play, we rang up before setting off (70 mile journey) and voice message said course fully open!, when we arrived to find only 10 holes were in play and course was dry , not sure why only 10 holes were playing, but enjoyed it anyway

Great course, not long but very challenging with a lot of blind Second shots and tee shots and undulating fairways never giving a flat lie. The members were welcoming and the staff friendly giving some tips on the course before heading off. Pace of play was rapid, 3hrs somehow, don’t know if this is the norm. Overall a great course, as beginner/average golfers we were welcome and enjoyed our round

What a fantastic course . Not just the views but the course itself ! Played after some pretty dire weather the days before . Fair ways lies we’re all good. Greens were in really good condition and ran true.

Only negative was you sometimes lost concentration on playing golf as you were staring at the stunning views !!!!!

A must play if you get the chance .

A truly magnificent setting for a golf course. 5* views all around the course and some excellent holes to match. Not a very long course but this doesn’t matter when the holes are quirky and ask enough of the golfer.

If you’re in Northumberland for golf you simply must play this course.

Great layout with the most fantastic views.

Fabulous course with spectacular views. It was a pleasure playing in such An amazing location - a course to make you think. It is quite hilly but mainly gradual so not too much on your legs. Course was in great condition, if I lived closer I would join. Drinks and food menu also good with indoor and outdoor seating areas.

First tune playing this beautiful course. Definitely will make the effort to play again in the future. Views breathtaking & course a good challenge.

Course was in excellent condition and the people were very friendly - the course is short but the par 3s are quirky and pretty tough.

Number 1 course to recommend in the area.

Definitely would play this course again when in the area, brilliant course with excellent views.
