Golfer Reviews
Great day out
Played a round with my son and we both really enjoyed the course. Staff and members really friendly. We will be back again
Golf
Set off early to get , to Bellingham, course in great condition, weather was hot , first time playing here , very enjoyable and a testing course , staff very friendly and helpful, I will return and recommend.
Hidden gem off the beaten path
Welcome in the clubhouse couldn’t have been warmer, although no kitchen service available.
Course was in very good condition although the long dry spell has caused some damage to the greens.
18 very different holes which all have their own challenges. Plenty of slopes and some steep descents. Take care around 16 green as 17 tee box is just above. 18th is probably the toughest hole with its strong slope and deep ravine in front of the green.
Pristine summertime course
A hilly and testing course that is definitely buggy-worthy for some players, Bellingham is a gorgeous place to play golf in sunny conditions. The expansive views of Northumberland in the horizon take you away from urban distractions and can make it hard for you to want to leave. It’s a shame that the golf club closes very early on some days, meaning you can’t get a drink at the end of the round, but it’s only a stone’s throw away from the cute town that has its own offerings.
Great course
Interesting course in fab condition right now. Quite a few steep bits and hard work on a very hot day. Maybe take some repellant for the horse flies.
Great course
Fantastic course, great location, course is in good condition and we were told the greens were a few weeks away from being in their normal condition but we found them OK.
The course was very quiet when we played and I can't see it being too congested at any time due to the location.
A good test of golf, I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you have a round here, the staff were very friendly too
Unknown surprise!
This course is so different and surprisingly set-out. I played it March 2025 when the greens had just been top dressed so I didn’t really have the benefit of playing the full course.
If you want a great little test which it’s hard in regard to length then this course is great. The course sends you over a few blind rolling fairways into neat tucked away greens! I really can not wait to play this course in the summer! ⛳️🏌🏻♂️
Stuck behind S -L-O-W!!! 4 ball
The 2nd time this year I've played here. Brilliant the first time and the reason why I came back. This time was as good but for the slowest 4 ball known to man! Part of a society but had lost 4 holes on the group in front of them and did not wave me through. Spoilt and otherwise great day.
Brilliant course
Course was amazing and in such good condition.
It wasn’t too busy which was nice.
Be prepared for a hard walk tho or book a buggy if your not good with hills.
Worth playing, il defo be back soon!
Love it!
A wonderful course if you like peace and quiet, well laid out, in good condition despite all the rain we've had. Very welcoming staff.
Unfortunately no catering on Mondays or Tuesdays so had to get fed down in the village after my game.
Hidden Gem
Weekend away with family split with a game of golf at this lovely course, absolute steal for £20 a round at this place. Most of the greens were tip top, fairways cut nicely. Staff within the club were very welcoming and the guy behind the bar gave us some tips before heading to the first tee. Definitely recommend if you are in the area to play this course.
Fantastic Course!
Played this course whilst staying at a nearby lodge and what a brilliant course! Scenic and well maintained with some very challenging holes. We played on Saturday mid morning and the pace of play was excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area and a nice pint and friendly atmosphere in the club house after the round. Course is very hilly so would definitely recommend hiring a buggy!
Superb value
We were lucky enough to get a tea time for only £20, very friendly welcome when we arived explain8ng the course layout and a bit of general banter, we both realy enjoyed our round which suited both a seasoned golfer and beginer. The condition or the course was superb.
Back in the clubhouse they had a good selection of local beers and exceptionaly well priced food.
All this for £20 each, quite simply pay them a visit.
Bank Holiday comp
Friendly as ever.
Considering all the recent rain the course was in excellent condition
My third time here with 3 different golfers all have said they will definitely be back (just getting the timing right with them) Hot day course fairly empty, offered a couple to play through. But they had the same idea as us just a lie surely game and taking in the stunning views.
Nice little track
First time playing here and was impressed really nice layout, I’d suggest getting a buggy as there’s quite a few hills and it was roasting, nice friendly staff it has a small driving range with 4 bays, overall a really nice course
