Millionaires golf
We had a deluge 5 days before I played in Newcastle and with Bellingham being in the wilds and high up I can imagine that the rainfall they had would of been far worse. Yes it was sploggy in places but you could tell that despite this the course was well maintained so I must thank all the green staff for doing such a wonderful job despite the recent inclement weather.
There was no one in front or behind me for the entire round which was great! The holes all have a character all of their own and despite the course being fairly short in these wet conditions the course was playing very long. Despite this I still loved the experience, didn't bother marking my score and just enjoyed playing some golf. The clubhouse was closed when I was there , so can't really comment on that side of things, but I met a few of the members and they were all friendly and helpful folk.
Alot of the holes have some serious elevation changes, which for me just adds to character of the course. I would have no hesitation in recommending this real gem of a course to everyone.
Very good course with good facilities
Played this course many times and always enjoyed it
On this day the greens had just been sprayed with fertiliser and being a damp day made putting difficult
Otherwise fantastic course
Had light lunch there after and it was good value and very enjoyable
Beautiful location
Quirky and interesting layout and as always in pretty good condition given the heavy rain in the previous few days. A warm welcome for everyone in the clubhouse and the scenery is quite spectacular. Definitely play here if you have the chance.

Bellingham yesterday--absolutely perfect !!! . Keiran looked after us well --thanks .
Used a buggy - i couldn`t have played otherwise--no problems .
The course was extremely fair /ground a bit hard but heatwave dried . Greens watered and were superb -- velvet , as always my caddy/chauffeur/wife was dynamite on the greens -2 x 40ft ,
3 x 20 ft ---i cant get close to that ---shes even good on crazee golf .
Nevermind --alls well at Bellingham ----congratulations to all concerned
Challenging but fair
Right from the start you needed to be on your game. A fair course, an undulating course with many unique holes.
Brilliant
First time playing the course. We had an excellent time and would highly recommend.
Bellingham Father / Son Golf
Played this gem of a course on Sunday. Condition of course was first class with tight fairways and smooth greens. Would come back and play again as there are several interesting holes on the course.
Very underrated golf course.
Interesting and varied / great scenery
What a really interesting course set in spectacular scenery. A great mix of holes with shorter par 4’s all offering great variety. Tees, fairways and greens were all in good condition. The pace of play was excellent as was the genuine welcome to visitors. I would thoroughly recommend the course, you will not be disappointed.
Enjoyable day out
Amazing course
What an amazing golf course , in excellent condition. We received a friendly welcome on our arrival nd afterwards for a welcome pint in the bar , course was well sign posted, so we didn’t get lost lol , would recommend a buggy as it is very hilly, but they only enhance some excellent views nd didn’t diminish the golf .
Perfect!
I started playing golf at Bellingham when it was only 9 holes anyone visiting for the first time would think it’s always been 18 holes, so good are the “new” 9 it may not be the longest course but it has 2 par 5’s that are well over 500 yards, you have to position the ball in the right areas and the 4th and 14th are terrific par 3’s. The greens were immaculate and the course well presented.
The staff were welcoming and the outside sitting area well kept overlooking the 18th green. Highly recommend to golfers of all ability.
Bellingham Bound
We booked an 11.30 tee time, and the club were kind enough to call me two days prior and offer us the choice of an earlier start time in order to avoid a foursomes competition. The course was extremely well presented, and the greens were in excellent condition. It's a gem of a golf course, and we're bound to go back again...
