Quirky course with great views
Course was in great nick some lovely holes and hidden traps if it’s your first time really enjoyed it and would go back
Pay attention to the 18th!!!
Fabulous course and super friendly starter. Ground was slightly heavy after a period of rain. The 18th would challenge any player. Wish I’d listened more to the starters advice.
Well worth a visit.
Great course
First time I’ve played here and although it was a bit wet with the rain the course held up well and greens were fantastic. Will definitely be back!
A hidden gem
Despite torrential rain on previous days, the sun shone for us and we enjoyed a fantastic round of golf at Bellingham. The club pro even took the liberty of contacting us the day before to let us know the course had been closed due to flooding, but as it was open on the day we decided to go for it...and we weren’t disappointed!
Whilst it’s not a long course, every hole is unique and challenges your club selection. The signature hole, the par 4 12th, requires a good approach into a protected green.
There are some tee boxes close to one another that might require patience on a busier day, but for us thr day was perfect and we’ll be back again.
An excellent find
A challenging course in beautiful condition. The course layout was quite inspiring and each hole had its own special obstacles to overcome. The views across the countryside were great. By the time you reach the 18th green the ups and downs have certainly worn you out so unless you are a reasonably fit person I would certainly recommend a buggy. Fortunately one our group had played this course a few times before so his knowledge about each hole was very useful. This golf club would certainly benefit from offering visitors a little guide book explaining the layout of each hole and providing some useful pointers. My group will be back to play the course in a couple of days.time.
Belta course, apart from the bunkets
Very hilly. Fat lads might need a buggy.
Course is great. Nice tee boxes, fairways and greens but no sand in bunkers, like hitting off concrete.
Great course in excellent condition with beautiful scenery
Quite hilly
Most of the holes are in great condition, fairway on the 6th a bit wet, ball plugged due to recent over night rain.
Hilly on some holes, I would recommend a buggy.
Still a good day out..
Really good little course
8 golfers...course very well kept..everyone enjoyed it... some challenging holes..
No food in the clubhouse tho.. check before you play...staff very friendly...
Would defo go back..
Bellingham Golf Club, Northumberl
An excellent test of golf and well worth a visit .......... good combination of tricky par 3's as well interesting par 4's and 5's make Bellingham an attractive day out in a superb setting. Highly recommended.
Very nice
Very good course well kept bit hilly so mite need buggy some lovely par 3 and a good test of golf if you go for it very friendly members and staff would recommend
Enjoyable
Fantastic course with some tricky little holes. Very hilly, make sure you take a trolley.
A long drive out but worth it.
A cracking course set in beautiful quiet Northumberland. For once I found a course that wasn't busy, so no slow play. Friendly staff, I managed to tee off 40 minutes before my tee time, the round took just 3 hours.
Quite wet conditions even though not much rain of late. Greens ok, bunkers fine, fairways wet. Clubhouse was closed by the time I'd finished, so I had a couple of tasty pies from a bakery in the village! marvellous!
Great course and set up
Fabulous day, staff where so friendly and welcomed us all. Course in great condition considering they had heavy rainfall the night before. Good food to and very easy to book through Teeofftimes.co.uk.
Would highly recommend this to any golfer.
