Great course, Great condition even in winter
This course is one of the best in the county, the greens are immaculate and are the best I've seen this winter, no worm castings and evenly green on every hole. Things to be improved would be the lack of winter tees on the holes that need them more than others. Also some signage to the different tees would help. Club shop is well stocked and has a good layout.
Excellent, challenging course
We really enjoyed playing this lovely course. It was challenging for us as we are relative beginners (30 handicap) and we found that if we strayed from the fairways, even only a little, it was difficult to find or to play the ball.
Everyone we spoke to was extremely friendly and the bar was great!

Great Track
Been meaning to go back & play BAGC for a while. Course conditions were excellent with each hole offering its own challenge. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great day at this course.
The course was beautifully kept, with lots of well maintained fairways and excellent greens.
There are several challenging holes and not least are a couple of potential score wrecking par 3s.
This was great value for money
First visit to Bishop Auckland Golf club.
When my friend and I arrived we couldn’t find any staff but there were some members more than happy to help; providing us with a score card and advice. I found the course difficult, but I was having a bad golf day; that’s my excuse anyway. I would highly recommend this course. There are some interesting holes and the course is well looked after. The tee times seemed spread out because there wasn't any pressure from golfers behind and we didn’t catch the golfers in front either.
Rather hilly, not the easiest walking. Odd layout, 3 par 5s in first 4 holes, the a cluster of par 3s. Next tee sign posting would help. Novice visitors should be given guidance on basic etiquette. Course in good condition.
Golf Day out
Had a great day out at bishop Auckland golf course, the course was in fantastic condition and the staff was so friendly and helpful
Lovely Course
Course was in lovely condition, bit boggy on few bits but had rained a lot in the preceding days. We got bright sunshine and a bargain price. Definitely be back. Other three had never played there before and loved it.
