A Good Day Out

The fairways were parched and dry due to the extended period without rain in the area. The greens were well watered and extremely good to putt on.

The ball usually had a great run on the dry fairways which helps on the long par 5's. The greens are well protected by water hazards or bunkers in places making accuracy in approach shots important.

We have only played here a few times but it will remain one of our local favourites.

Fast greens, slow play

Very good course 7th and 8th par 3s are really good... I played a month or two ago and the greens were very sandy for winter prep but have now bedded in well very fast for the time of year!! We got stuck behind 3 groups which caused some slow play.. still a good day would definitely recommend..pricey course unless you pay through teetimes..

Parkland beauty

Well worth a worth a walk out, course will only get better as summer progresses, great views and some challenging holes...play it, you won't be disappointed. May need a buggy as there are gradients to deal with, but not to severe

Great Experience

Can't fault the place....great course in excellent condition.

Got a hot deal so probably wouldn't pay the normal £30 a round for a visitor.

Buggy with Ipad was great however we gave up on it after a few holes as it kept packing up and we had to start from scratch again ! (the Ipad that is !!)

This is one of the most scenic parkland courses that I played since moving to the UK. Not a very difficult golf course, with wonderful greens. So my rating for this course would be 5 stars around.

A grand day out!

A testing course with some very tough par three's, lots of opportunities for birdies. Overall a good layout in good condition and with the addition of a new head green keeper I look forwards to the up coming summer.A large club house with snooker tables, good food and polite staff.
