Blackpool Park Golf Club - Stanley Park Course

Managed to get the last available time, course busy but speed of play was great, very happy to see all holes in play, the best part of the course is over the road behind Victoria hospital.. so glad to see the planning/ closure of these holes cancelled 👍

normally the greens aren't bad but if i play this course again & they are in the terrible condition that i encountered this time i played i wont play this course again its obvious that the greens were not mowed for at least a couple of days they were ridiculously long & spoilt the golf completely it was a waste of time playing the course

Very enjoyable course to play. A few quirky features to the course but they add to it. Some serious drainage work on going but it only affects two holes and not a big issue. greens challenging at the moment however we on the back end of 6 weeks with hardly any rain.

Will play it again

The course was in fairly decent condition. Fairways were well tended and rough we’ll cut back. The greens were very slow but played quite consistently. It is great value for money.

An enjoyable round, but unfortunately 3 holes were closed due to utilities work. Perhaps a partial refund would have been in order.

If I could give pace of play 0 stars then I would, the 4 ball in front had carts and we (a 2 ball) still kept up to them and they would not let us play through. We walked off at the 11th hole as it was a waste of time.

There was also a digger in the middle of one of the fairways and the greens were awfully kept, which for this time of year is unexpected.

This is still one of the best courses around. Had a great day out in the sun. Only problem was so many people on the course and some behind had no idea how to slow the pace

a really decent golf course but badly hampered by slow play far to many 4 balls clogging the whole course up this kills your enjoyment hanging around waiting to play every hole no more than 3 people should be allowed together it will deter people from playing there if not sorted

Nice to play again after 20 odd years. The layout and design is as always beaut, no one mentioned the greens were like ploughed fields and the drainage leak on the sixth. Apart from that a treat to play.

Course is playing well with the nice weather. Some greens wasn’t great but not bad for £20.

a good all round course with attractive surroundings not for the faint hearted due to it being long but excellent to play & in cracking condition

good course needs a little bit more to bring it up to scratch ie greens arent great bunkers need sorting there awful other than that enjoyed the game

First time playing golf and totally enjoyed myself.

Friendly, helpful and polite staff. Bacon barms to die for.

Good round of golf, my mate got a hole in 1 on the 5th hole and they have no boards or certificates for this. Most courses have something for an achievement like this.

Fairway grass way too long and greens terrible.

Great lay out but not being maintained anywhere near well enough

no cut fairways no cut greens bunkers full of weeds and like mud looks like it hasnt been touched for ages shame as it normally is a good course and usually well kept but not at the moment
