Played 9 holes twice due to back 9 closed, did not spoil our round as the 9 holes played are in great condition this is why we still gave it a 5 star review. As normal Ray in the shop was as helpful as always. Course amenities review only 3 star as the bar was being decorated otherwise this would be 5 star. Looking forward to playing again in the summer.

It was disappointing to turn up and find out that 9 of the holes were closed and they we needed to play off mats, would have been useful for this info to have been provided on Golf Now. Having said that, the course looked very good and our 4 ball agreed to arrange to play it again in the summer, when fully open. The greens were in very good condition. The course looked like it would be challenging when warm and dry and the summer, with the sloping fairways, looks like it would be tricky to keep the ball where you want it.

The course was fantastic, sadly the weather was not. Obliviously this isn’t the fault of the club, but even in the poor weather the greens were fantastic. And the course was perfectly looked after. We only play 9 holes twice due to said mentioned weather but the holes we played had interesting layouts which provided a challenge for both myself and my play partner. Can’t wait to get back out there in the spring and play the full 18z

Only 9 holes open . The new 9 holes are shut during winter months due to drainage. This means you play the old 9 holes twice. Pros dad in the shop was very nice and welcoming. Joined two members who were a joy. Will go back in the summer

Great value £10 ….only 9 holes open but enjoyed our day I love the course personally grea taste of my skills I’d be a member if it was more local . IN THE SUMMER MONTHS ITS ONE OF THE BEST AROUND , THANKS FOR THE PLEASURE ….

Really enjoyable variety of holes, with plenty of space to let loose on the drives, though that didn't stop a couple of OBs.

Greens were unbelievably pure and quick.

Pace was on slower side, but on a bank holiday packed full of four balls, not silly slow (4h 10.mins.)

Only criticism would be the layout of tee boxes and criss crossing of holes. There are times when it feels crammed in a little too close for comfort (e.g 3rd Hole approach.). Get ready to shout fore a lot (some golfers on the day could have done this more, we had golf balls land very close to us 4/5 times with no fore and not a gust of wind to blame).

Excellent value for money and top course every hole is a different challenge

When you compare some courses around the same price bracket it’s not up to the mark. General course is in good to ok condition. Greens are spot on but the paths are quite unkept. No ball cleaning facilities ,clubhouse wasn’t even open.

First time playing, really nice staff and members and a great course.

Firstly the staff where pleasant so good start. Found the course is well planned out and feels like all the holes play long and hazard well placed. Even though seemed like was tought course scored quiet well(for me) novice golfer 97 . Had a few chats with other players on and after all seemed pleasant and helpful. Will definitely play again.

Enjoyed the course a little bit hilly for me at 74.Was really disappointed that could not get anything to eat only crisps and we where in the clubhouse at15.30.

Only played first nine. Only 5 mins from home but first time here. Straight forward first 9, good chance of scoring well. Will go back to play again as interested to see back 9, few reviews say back 9 is tougher. Defo somewhere I’ll go when I have a few free hours for 9 holes
