Carus Green Golf Club

Course was great as usual, it was my first time playing it in the summer.

Could not have been more pleased with the whole set up.

From friendly staff to excellent pro-shop and selection of all related golf apparel.

The course is very well maintained with fully raked bunkers, smart fairways and tees and excellent greens.

Well worth a visit.

Absolutely stunning course, put it on your bucket list.

The condition of the course was excellent, as usual. But, the pace of play was really slow. As a single player you know that you have very little standing, however there should be a bit of decency shown. After getting waved through by a group of other visitors after a couple of holes i waited behind a members 4 ball for the next 9 holes. Threw the towel in and walked off after the 12th hole.

Enjoyed the course and its scenic location. It was busy the day I played and the round took over 4 hours

Nice flat track, much needed after the hills of Kendal GC the day before. Layout was a challenge with tough undulating greens. Don’t need your driver much, as accuracy vital over distance, layout makes you think rather just hitting longest club every time. Highly recommended. . .

Travelled up to play the course having seen it on golf mates you tube, what can I say absolutely loved it! My wife enjoyed walking around the course with me. Lovely place weather awful but I can imagine it even better with the sun out. Thanks

Played today and the standard of the course for November was brilliant.

Full fairways & greens.

Plenty of work going on by the green keepers / some bunkers out of play because they’re adding fresh sand into the bunkers.

I would recommend anybody to play carus green- lovely course with some great holes.

After 2 days of heavy rain this course played remarkedly well and greens were in good condition. Some nicely laid out holes and challenging greens. Good clubhouse, range and shop. Only downside was a shortened 16 and 17 which looked great holes if played to their full length but given the weather we have had this was fully understandable. Overall a really good visit

I can't recommend this place enough. From pulling into the car park and seeing a world class clubhouse to checking in at the shop and being greeted by a quality team with one of the best driving ranges I've seen.

The quality of the course especially the greens in winter was outstanding especially considering all the rain the UK has had.

A gem of a course which I highly recommend.
