Nice course let down by lack of warm up facilities
Nicely laid out course, good value and easy to book a good T time, but let down by very poor warm up area, which is in the shade so actually cold in the morning!
Two worn out mats with broken rubber Tees unless you happen to be a lefty!
Small putting green also in the shade with a sign stating no chipping.
Played here for the last 3 weekends but greens are now super dry so don’t hold the ball and cups are actually protruding above general grass level. Bunkers are also rock hard and full of grass!
Absolutely shocking!
I’ve played here a few times in the summer where I thought the course wasn’t too bad, however I played this weekend and we couldn’t tell the difference between the 2nd cut and the fairway. ( or lack of fairway). It seems as though the greens keepers have taken a leave of absence in the past few months..The fairways had similarities to a Sunday league football pitch. The tee boxes were appalling. I will definitely not be returning until next summer . Hopefully the greens keepers might reappear by then.
Absolutely horrendous conditions the course should have been closed
Although it's barely rained the past week the conditions of this course were dire. The fairways were about 40% mud and the grass about light rough length. The tee boxes were 100% mud. The greens where the pins were replaced had been filled in with fake turf?!?!
Most misleading course on golf now
This course is genuinely shocking in quality, I can't believe it's £37 a round. The tee boxes were just mud and the fairways I would class as light rough in comparison to other courses and 50% mud. On top of that the old pin placements on the greens had been refilled with fake turf!

Good summer course. Dont come in Winter as too boggy but very good in Summer. Green were very good if a little slow.
Not very difficult if you are sensible !
Always a nice round at CM. Some interesting holes and long-ish par 4s.
Sharing the 19th hole outside area with a wedding party / reception was interesting !
Very wet on the rain season
Lovely course, but it gets very wet during the rain season. Some of the greens were flooded and the ball did not run much. We only have a couple of days of rain, and it is already very wet. I normally play here in summer because of that. Otherwise lovely course.
