Overpriced

£25 is too much considering the course conditions.

Poor greens and 3 temp greens - on which the grass was longer than on the fairway

Not worth the money in winter

Course looks amazing and the layout is great, I imagine some of the holes would be great with food dry conditions. However, it is absolutely not worth the visit in the winter months and especially not for £22. Greens are awful, fairways are awful and tee boxes are awful. Can get the tractor out to blow the leaves off the fairways but can't cut them lower than some roughs I've played in. Disappointed even for the cheapish price. Potentially worth a visit in the summer but I might have been put off!

Will not be back

Just keeps getting worse of late, no notice of temp tees and greens, to which are holes in middle of fairway with flagsticks, lots of mole hills, unkept tees, greens and bunkers, fairways and greens far too long, get it was wet but need to be better, it is a shame as a few years ago this course was brought back. But now been let go again. Can see this course closing like many others.

Great layout

Amazing course, unfortunately I played when the course was under maintenance (temp greens etc) and probably the wrong time of year. Autumn, full of leafy fairways long grass fairways and greens (wet greens too). But it doesn't take it away as it's such a good course. Looking forward to playing it in normal conditions. Would be 5 star in better conditions or different time of year. Only one bad hole really which is the long par 3 up the hill, the rest are very good holes especially holes 10,11 and 12.

Potentially a good course but in a state

Very poor “winter greens” in October

We should have been warned about the state of the first three greens.

Fairways not trimmed anywhere near short enough. Lost balls in light rough!

Bunkers like ploughed fields and completely unplayable.

Will not be back.

Needs work

Mole hills galore and even on the temporary greens. Poor drainage meaning the course was soaked including tee boxes that were like mud pits.

Great value for a Saturday lunchtime. £14.99 each. Course was in good condition apart from bunkers could do with more sand in them.

Pretty good!

For £13 for a 15:30 tee time, you really can’t complain!

The main let down is the tee boxes to be honest, they’re a bit scabby and bare mud. The fairways were nice and greens generally pretty good. It was much better than expected and we’ll go back.

It’s a pretty tight course so watch out for wayward drives, some challenging holes too.

Challenging Course, Value for Money

The conditions were better than they have been previously, with greens appearing more tendered for. Good value for money course which has its challenges with some great playing holes. Have played here multiple times and will be back.

Staff and other players were friendly. There would be benefit in a putting green and practice net to help warm up.

Value for money

Only paid £13 for a half 4 Ted time and not many around, enjoyed it more than when course was busier as some hole's pretty close together, the odd mud patches here and there but nothing to ruin a round, decent fairways and greens, definitely worth the money and will book again.
