I Recommend This Course
Prepare to be challenged, physically and technically.
Played here for the 1st time in 20 years, and was looking forward to a challenge. A big estate and be prepared for a walk especially if not using a buggy. Disappointed that the halfway house had closed early as could have done with a sausage roll for the challenge of the long par 5 10th.
A very long course off the white tee but the fairway was running fast and hard, which was well burnt after the long dry spell. Greens in good condition and challenging pin positions, (don't go past the flag on the 1st).
We normally go round our course in 3hrs 20min, took an extra 1hr due to the long walks between some holes.
Will play again soon.

A good course worth a visit
The course was well set up and in reasonable condition, the greens had been recently been hollowed and we're a little rough. The pace of play was slow, due to the course fully booked.

Unbelievably muddy especially the back nice serious drainage issues and no treatment for worm casts. Shouldnt really be open.... in fact Unplayable and thats a shame as clearly a lovely track once.
