We stumbled on some great weather for the end of Feb course was in great condition for February greens were good as always food after was good and staff were very friendly.

Arrived about half an hour before booking time staff just turning up, lady in shop made us a coffee and checked us, really welcoming.

The course its self was in great condition for the time of year, no mats required, amazing.

Fantastic views all along the course and paying the hole up to the castle was wonderful.

Had a period of showers nut nothing to worry about.

If you want t play here I would recommend early t time as when we were finishing the place was heaving and car park full,

Great value for money.

Lots of ground works at the moment around some bunkers which will only make the place look even more amazing.

So thank you for allowing us to visit and play, we will definitely be back and bring a few friends with us next time.

This place is just outstanding, a real credit to the staff and green keeping team for a course to be presented in this condition in the middle of winter. My home course on preferred lies with mats and winter shortening vs this place in as good as summer conditions. Cold and windy, but just a perfect layout and true example of links golf at its very best.

After viewing the website and internet photos I was excited to play Dunstanburgh.

However they do absolutely no justice to the course.

Every single hole has you looking around in wonderment.

All 18 holes look and feel achievable, I was confident on every tee box. That’s not to say I wasn’t challenged! I shot a 99 I’m a 22.7 handicapper.

The course and greens are in great condition and the course is close to immaculate.

I got it for £18 on golf now and would have been happy paying £50

Had an amazing time on the course, beautiful views, course was kept in great condition considering the time of year!

This course never really disappoints! The layout of fantastic and the condition was excellent considering the recent weather. The staff are great and the Haggis sausage roll was just superb!

Will definitely be up again a few times this year.

Really nice course. Visually great, but also in great condition for right before Christmas. All greens, fairways etc were great. The odd bunker was GUR but apart from that, it was hard to fault. Tricky wind made it quite difficult, but it was a really nice play to play golf. Would 100% go back as it was worth the hour drive up the road.

Dunstanburgh is a superb links course. Great layout, always in great condition, the views are stunning and it's a good test of golf. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming too.

Really enjoyed playing this course again. It was in beautiful condition and the views from it are spectacular. The last time we played it was in torrential rain but yesterday the weather couldn't have been kinder, no wind and warm sunshine, very unlike normal November in Northumberland consequently the course was very busy.

On finishing we got a lovely warm welcome in the clubhouse and enjoyed a very tasty lunch.

Played on a dry overcast calm day. Considering it was early November the course was in spectacular condition. Lots of grass on the fairways and the greens were nice and smooth, true and quite fast. The whole course was quite dry. The variation of holes is good and the scenery in all parts of the course is jaw dropping.

If you have never played a links course then give it a go. It’s not as hard as you think. Reasonable value for money. Us GolfNow to get a few quid off with their Hot Deals.

Clubhouse and it’s staff really good

Booked via golfnow. When I arrived was told that I would be playing with three others but no one else turned up! Two lads in front of me told me they were late and they teed off when I should have started which slowed me down. In the end took 3 1/2 hours which wasn’t too bad. A guy started on 7th behind me and started driving when I was still on the fairway which was a bit annoying. Course in good condition and was quite busy but seeing it was a lovely sunny day in half term, that wasn’t surprising.

Superb course great views and stuffing Clubhouse very very friendly and helpful

A scenic course on a blustery day. It was millionaires golf with fantastic views of the north sea waves rolling in alongside the castle. The course was in wonderful condition. I'd love to play it on a hot summer's day, when the wind was was less than 45 miles an hour!!

Admission - I’ve played here many times over the last 30 years.

The subtle changes and updates made by the current owners have really added to the golfing experience. Greens are excellent and the views are some of the best you will come across in UK golf.

The clubhouse is small with very friendly staff. As it is on the coastal path, you can expect the clubhouse to be busy with walkers and golfers.

If you want to experience a special course that is stunning value for money then look no further.

Good layout , greens not as good as you would expect for this time of year and some of its members, food far more expensive than other local courses , players showing good etiquette regarding pace of play
