Brilliant setting. Course in fantasy condition and the best greens played this year. Highly recommended

Delightful course in excellent condition. Would however benefit from fairway markers (100 and 150 yards- not all players have gps) and a better pocket map.

First time I’ve played Dunstanburgh Castle after hearing so many good reviews over the years. Absolutely stunning links course with fabulous views of the Northumberland coastline. The only negative was the parking around the clubhouse, it was absolutely terrible and for such a prestigious course it was a let down, however please don’t let this put you off playing one of the jewels in the crown of Northumberland’s finest courses.

One of my favourite links course and somewhere I always recommend to other golfers.

However.

Greens not as good as normal and the main disappointment was finishing our round at 16.10 and club hose was closed!!!!!!!!!!!!

The weather was cold and got colder after the first 9.

We were a 2 ball following a 4 ball and waited on every hole. Greens we’re in good condition

Golf course was excellent , we were disappointed that from 4.30 there wasn't any food or coffee available .

Love this course. Greens were excellent and consistent course in great condition. A real test of golf, not the longest of courses but the views are beautiful.

Ecellent conditions for play; a bit of a headwind on the last 5 holes made it more challenging. Course in excellent condition although quite a lot of divots in some 'popular' areas where shots tend to gather.

As it happens I couldn’t play due to testing positive for COVID.

I emailed the course and they said there would be no issue re-booking so I’ll re-arrange.

However I have played this course a few times before and not only is it always in impeccable condition, it’s an absolutely stunning setting.

If you’ve never been I suggest you book. The staff are always excellent and you won’t be disappointed.

Value for money is phenomenal too.

This course is outstanding. A beautiful setting, great holes, excellent condition, friendly golfers and staff.

I have played here a few times and I always enjoy my round, no matter what the weather. Thinking course where you don't just try and bomb it off the tee. Always a challenge and even more so if the weather is bad

Staff are great and the food in the clubhouse is excellent. This and Goswick Park are the best courses in the area in my opinion and you can play here for half the price of Goswick

Played here 27th Feb bit windy but bright sunny day but course n greens were in great nick, wind made it more difficult but course was great as always never been disappointed when visit here and will be back again

I booked up the day before as I imagine many do... Unfortunately I did not get a confirmation email to confirm the booking.. as a result i tried calling the course many times in the morning to no avail.

as a result I did not travel the hour long journey through fear of being a wasted journey.

I called the club today to try and rearrange the booking but got met with "we cant match prices of golf now so not our problem"

I understand I share the blame and accept I've lost £55 as a result but if it was me I'd go out of my way to help and show people that golf is a class above the rest...

Course held up well from lots of rain - great welcome and greens were fantastic for a wet February- wish I could keep this course a secret !

Pretty short with only one par 5, but some extremely challenging holes. Positioning your tee shot is much more important than length here. Shame you don’t see much of the beautiful seaside but other castle views were awesome. We played in quite nice weather but still got the windy blasts on the back nine.

Greens were awesome for January and we only had to play off a couple of tee mats.

Pre round snacks were good staff friendly and pace of play pretty good. Even though we were being pushed by single players behind.

Overall I’d go back again and hope for a warm day!
