Greens fast and true
Really enjoyed the course. Popular day and car park full ,spaces tight, but minor issue. Easy to find way around course, fairways in great condition

You cannot beat this course for the price and I played dearer courses that don't touch this one
Lovely course, will return.
Really enjoyed our round at Durham City on Sunday, even with the amount of rain locally recently the greens were fair throughout. Will definitely be back in the height of summer to play this course in its full glory.
Course great considering the amount of rain lately
The course was in great condition considering the amount of rain we have had lately. the boxes, fairways and green were a little soft but that should be expected.
East meets west
Friendly welcome from members , young lad in pro shop was more reserved .
The course was in reasonably good condition. A mix of short holes with doglegs both left and right. The grass on some of the tees varied in cut height.
Greens were quite soft and receptive to a good struck iron, undulating but slow.
Aprons were patchy regarding grass cover.
Overall well worth a visit and good value. would come back.
My playing partner from Korea enjoyed his first game of golf in the UK.

Lovely course in great condition, so good I’m joining as a member
Arrived to cloud cover and rather cold, sun came out as we were warming up on the practice green and it turned into a lovely day, not cold from then on and not hot either.
Our 4ball were behind 5 or 6 4balls and until we got into the round, we were hanging about at tee boxes for the first three holes.
Some greens were patchy in places, but that's to be expected at this time of year and the grass that was on the greens was almost immaculate, they were also all true, all were the same pace as each other, which always helps.
We were advised that placing was in effect on the fairways and to be honest, the four of us really had no need to do so.
Our GPS trackers were thrown somewhat with the 7th hole having been taken out of play and they didn't get back on track till the 12th hole, but that didn't detract from the experience.
Our winner had 31 points off a 10 handicap, so a little challenging would be the best summation I could give.
A spacious and welcoming club house for a drink afterwards. All in all, a good day and we hope to return again soon.
Course good considering weather
Course wet due to heavy rain the night before but it did not spoil the round of golf. No winter greens and they played pretty consistently.. Had to tee up on fairway but considering the wet thats fair
mature course lovely setting
Great round , course in generally good condition for thitime of year . Shame about those slow players who were reluctant to allow me through

best course I have played in a while and for £16 per head amazing value for money.
Beautiful Course
Excellent condition, great club house and pro shop. Wonderful condition with great greens. Beautiful parkland course. Would highly recommend to any golfer. Definitely going back!
Excellent course
I had a really enjoyable experience playing this course, it was in fantastic condition, greens in very good nick. Friendly and helpful staff, I thoroughly enjoyed my round.
Durham City oozes class
Played the course at 14-04 nice sunny day course in fab condition greens were great .credit to the green staff. Played this course a few times over the years and never disappointed and well worth the £13 green fee. Will definitely be back for more ⛳️⛳️⛳️
