Hart Common Golf Club - Main Course

First time on this course was a bit wet under foot however in ok condition greens good but slow give it a go

Good course..the greens r fantastic.. especially for a municapal golf course

The course itself is in great condition just a shame about the customers, a 2 ball tees off in front of us a man and woman. The pace of play was very slow holding up my 2 ball. 2 other 2 balls behind us, they wouldn’t let us play through, at the 9 hole they were joined by another man who at first appeared to be walking the course with them. However he then started to play each hole using the clubs of theirs which made the round even slower. Unable to contact the club by phone as no one answered. The round turned into an4 1/2 round playing the 18 in the dark

Yesterday the course was spongy with every shot plugging. Also the owners should consider red 100 yds, yellow 150 yds and White 200 yds marker stakes on the fairway edges. In addition also consider sponsored bins on every tee as there was discarded bottles and tins

Great course for all abilities, well looked after considering the amount of rain recently seemed to drain pretty well!

First day after lockdown. Weather had been wet, and several parts of the course we're wet, with the occasional mudbath.

What do you expect - it's winter.

Greens slow and woolly because it's winter, but some fabulous sloping greens which I can't wait to play when the time of year is right.

The course is nicely sculptured on what would have ordinarily been a flat piece of land if it wasn't bfir the architects skills.

December - no winter tees, no winter greens. Friendly members and a driving range, putting green and chipping area to practice before your round.

Excellent condition considering the time of year and the amount of rain we have had!

Started us on the 10th because the front 9 was so bad! Shocking conditions and they know it!

Played here for the first time on Saturday considering the weather we have had of late, it was in good condition all the greens was on, was a bit muddy in places which is understandable would be great in the summer defo be back

Due to recent poor weather the course was not at its best but it is still 1 of the best and challenging I have played

First time playing here and the course has become very boggy due to intense overnight rain, which to be fair would hamper most courses. It did perhaps ruin the experience overall though as it was extremely boggy both on the fairway and rough, many bunkers unplayable too due to the amount of water.

The greens however where perfectly drained and well maintained and had lots of roll on them.

One of the most difficult things was signage around the course as to which exit from greens to the next tee & also the amount of blind shots, flag visibility and staked areas that where out of sight. A course planner is definitely recommended for first time visitors. The course is quite hilly too so prepare for a bit of energy sapping on the calves.

Will deffo return in more favourable conditions in the summer and hopefully have a more enjoyable experience now that I am more familiar with the layout.

Even though the weather has been very wet they’ve maintained an excellent standard and course conditions were great

Played here numerous times over the years, and tend to go when the weather is and has been bad because the greens are always excellent whatever the weather.

Like all courses it has 'boggy' areas when we have a week of rain, but as long as you remember that, you'll enjoy the round.

Was difficult to play this week as the wind was up and combined with the rain it was a tough challenge, but one we all really enjoyed.

Will definitely be back whenever we can.

Played many times. Usually has excellent greens.

Lady in shop was nice but owners always seem stroppy and miserable. It’s as if they don’t like golfers.
