Playgolf Bournemouth - Bridge Course

Tee’d off on the 1st tee where we quickly caught up with a very slow 2 ball who actually took our reserved tee time. Refused to acknowledge that we were waiting on every tee for upto 10 mins and didnt let us play through. Had to skip 2 holes to get in front of them (course was clear ahead of them), meaning only playing 7 holes on the front 9. Came around to the 10th tee with a 4 ball about to tee off! Explained to them that we were playing through, which was fine. Got around the corner on the 10th and the course was badly backed up because of people starting on the 10th. Had to walk off due to the extreme slow play. Asked for a partial refund as paid for 18 holes but could only play 8 holes. I was completely refused a refund with the guy at reception saying that there was nothing they could do despite blatantly letting people tee off the 10th causing a major delay to people playing from the 1st. There was a marshall on the 1st tee checking tee times etc, but absolutely no one checking on the 10th!

Was out for 4 hours and ended up walking off the course after the 12 hole as was staking up with teo groups waiting on tee boxes

The course is in a great condition, the greens are running good and the fairways nice and open.

We played at the May half term and the course was in a great condition. Probably the best I've seen it. Although it was busy, but this was expected. The club house was good and outside seating area was well laid out.

I am hoping to change this as the booking date was wrong it was supposed to be today

Heard good and bad things about this course in the past but wanted to play it anyway. I think the course layout is really good with some challenging holes, however, the fairways were basically rough as they hadn’t been trimmed for quite a few days. I think if it was cut more regularly it would be a really enjoyable course.

Queued at every tee. Often 2 groups deep. Maybe take a book for while your waiting

Very well up together course. Will definitely be back over the summer months to improve on my golf game. Excellent fairways and greens, cracking round of golf!

The course itself is fine, meets your expectations in terms of condition and design for the price. However, play round this course is extremely slow and people seem to lack etiquette to let faster groups ahead. 4 hour round quickly becomes 5 hours when you’re waiting around on every hole.

I turned up expecting a nice round but we get to the 11th hole and find out holes 12 to 16 are shut with no notice, after paying the full price for 18 holes

Only 12 holes open. ‘Play as many times as you like’. Therefore queues of random people on every hole. Madness! But it was sunny.
