Summer golf
The course is in a great condition, the greens are running good and the fairways nice and open.
May golf
We played at the May half term and the course was in a great condition. Probably the best I've seen it. Although it was busy, but this was expected. The club house was good and outside seating area was well laid out.
I did not play as the booking date was incorrect
I am hoping to change this as the booking date was wrong it was supposed to be today
Needs more regular maintenance
Heard good and bad things about this course in the past but wanted to play it anyway. I think the course layout is really good with some challenging holes, however, the fairways were basically rough as they hadn’t been trimmed for quite a few days. I think if it was cut more regularly it would be a really enjoyable course.
Course is good but slow
Queued at every tee. Often 2 groups deep. Maybe take a book for while your waiting
Great playing conditions.
Very well up together course. Will definitely be back over the summer months to improve on my golf game. Excellent fairways and greens, cracking round of golf!
Average course plagued with slow play
The course itself is fine, meets your expectations in terms of condition and design for the price. However, play round this course is extremely slow and people seem to lack etiquette to let faster groups ahead. 4 hour round quickly becomes 5 hours when you’re waiting around on every hole.

Course was poor massive queue for the first tee

I turned up expecting a nice round but we get to the 11th hole and find out holes 12 to 16 are shut with no notice, after paying the full price for 18 holes
Very poor
Wasn’t told only 12 holes open but still had to pay the same price, should have just used the driving range instead.
Take care - often only limited holes open
Despite paying for a full round (having previously checked the website which said ‘fully open’), I arrived to be told that there was only 12 holes open. Very disappointed by this.
The course suffers badly with flooding at times &, from now on, I think that I’ll give this course a complete miss between November and April.
Pre new year
Excellent condition considering it was the end of December, some holes not available but very good fairways and greens on the ones that were open.
