Playgolf Bournemouth - Bridge Course

No one has a clue about T-off times, it's just yeah carry on. We were a 2 ball and took over 3 hours to do 9 holes, we paid for 18, which is not cheap round here and quite after 9. 3 four balls queueing up on each hole. That's bad enough but the condition of the greens is atrocious!! Worst course played on this year, like putting on the moon. Fairways...well it's ball on fairway or ball lost, the rough is ridiculous. For the time of year the course is in terrible condition, bunkers with no rakes, T boxes poor and don't start on the greens again. Driving range is good. 😁

Enjoyed our round of golf but due to our poor play we lost several balls in the long grass.

Fairways and greens in terrible condition. Rough is so thick that any ball running off the hard fairway into it is lost.

Course offers enough of a different challenge around the various holes to be interesting enough to play often. However, it really struggles to not be a bit of a mess sometimes, could be the low basin, so flooding causes lots of problems. Most of the greens were patchy with lots of bobbles which made them really hard to read. I'm not a good golfer at all, so fine for me because I'm not doing anything special, but some better players may get frustrated

I’ve played here many times over the years and previously it has been in good condition, but at the moment it’s terrible. The weather hasn’t helped and this course does suffer badly from poor drainage. The greens are awful, some of the worst I’ve seen. Holes, bobbles and random breaks due to this. You can’t line up a putt, it’s just a hit and hope. I think they should go on temps for a week and treat all the greens to make it playable. Also the rough is not managed so if you go in that you literally have no chance of finding your ball. I think the range facilities etc have improved, but the course needs some love.

Course not in good condition. Only 12 holes was payable and no reduction on the price.

Travelled 40 minutes to find only half the holes were open and still paid full price. Course was in terrible condition, I cannot recommend.

It’s a nice golf course but the greens are pretty bad. The ball bounces all over the place when putting.

Would be a nice course to play in the summer

Nice golf course if it was looked after and not fully open to anyone just jumping on the course.

Appreciate that it’s been v wet recently but most of the greens were awful - patchy, & bumpy. Other local courses are currently in much better condition. Reading google reviews, several comment on the poor quality of the greens going back many months

Overall this is a great course at a great price. The only thing that lets it down just a little is the state of the greens. Lots of patches/holes. (Most due to lack of care from players not repairing pitch marks) but some very uneven/damaged surfaces to putt on which was frustrating. All in all. 4/5. 👍
