Super course even at this time of year, really enjoyed it, it’s a gem .
Pleasantly surprised
Got a round cheap off a app so was not sure what we getting. Not overly challanging course with some hills. Would go again.
September Sunday 2.40pm
Although I booked for 2.40pm and got to the club at 2.20pm I was told that I couldn’t go out until 3pm because there was a charity shotgun start out on the course and had been since 11am. After going out at 3pm it was millionaire golf and not a sole on the course.
The fairways hadn’t been cut in a while, the greens were rough and the tee beds were shot at, but I think this is a council run course, or at least if it isn’t, it felt that way.
Lots of blind shots
Lots of blind shots all though the round. Struggled to find the tees for several of the holes hidden away and no signs to direct you.
Pleasue
Was out early Monday morning. No groups immediately in front or behind. Course was in fantastic condition, greens were beautiful. Excellent value for money.

Great to be back here
First time playing here for at least 6 years and really enjoyed the round. Like many others I used to play the front nine twice rather than take on the much tougher back nine. This time I thought I was up for the challenge. I was wrong. Wheels came off after losing a ball on the fairway (must have plugged)
The course was in decent condition but would hope the greens get better over the next few weeks. They were a little bit patchy but still more than playable.
Will definitely be back soon
Good course
I've played this course a few times, the front 9 has some nice, challenging holes without being too difficult. The back 9 is more of a challenge, with the par 4 16th a steep uphill. The views, particularly of Pendle, are amazing.
Challenging yet enjoyable course. Bring plenty of balls though.

Excellent Course
Booked this on a whim and what a decision it turned out to be. One of the best course I’ve played in the North West. Will definitely be visiting again!

Having looked at your comment about Marsden Park G.C. I am aware of how little you know about golf and how golf clubs run. Firstly you booked on a hot deal on a day where there were 100 players playing in a charity event where we helped raise over £5k. You had to wait 25 min extra for a tee time that you paid £16 for. Do you think that the fairways would not of been cut before this event? Honestly people like you are just cheap skates with a opinion that is worthless. Next time make sure you don't come anywhere near our golf club again.
