Great corse
Great corse nice testing hill in the back 9 to. Only snag there was a competition so we had to skip a hole to stay infront
Nice course
Nice course in good condition. Friendly staff. Course was busy but pace of play was still good. Cra kng views of Pendle Hill. Excellent value for money, will definitely play again.
Lovely value for money golf course
All round good course , helpful staff . Can’t judge off course amenities due to Covid
Nice course, great value, good day
This course is in great condition, its great value for money
Nice pint afterwards :0)
Duos changed to trios
Woke up to the sun beaming and was super excited for a social distanced round of golf with a great friend. My friend and I haven’t played golf for what seem like a lifetime and play off a 24 handicap at least...
We check in to confirm our booking to be told (not asked) that a 3rd player has been added to our game. Don’t get me wrong the guy was really friendly and we had a nice laugh but I felt really uncomfortable and slightly anxious playing with a stranger. Which didn’t help us to truly enjoy our golf.
The course itself is really well looked after and the views are amazing. The back 9 is a killer for the legs but an all round great course.
Windy but great views
Some lovely and challenging holes but the lay out of the back 9 was strange holes felt squeezed in!!
Greens were in good order and ran at a consistent pace!!!
Great views and would paly again in better weather.
Very hilly!!
Tony’s Belting Saturday
Best course I’ve played in a while, a definite return is on the cards, had a great game with my mate Melvin, I lost but had a good day ;)
Gem of a course
Had not played here before and from parking up we were greeted in the car park with an update about todays conditions. As we were practicing on the putting green we were told about the halfway house option (number available at 8th tee)
Good selection of holes with varying elevation, beware the 16th, uphill tee shot is just the start!
Great round and will definitely visit again!
Really enjoyed playing here as a beginner. It was a soggy old day and some fairways were very wet but the greens were in great condition considering. Brilliant range of holes and I reckon the views would have been amazing had the mist not been in the way. Will definitely be back.
An excellent course
I was here with my partner and the weather turned out warmer than we had anticipated. I would suggest stopping for water after the 9th. We didn't and regretted it, even more so when we got to the 16th which was tantamount to a mountain in my exhausted state. I would recommend a cart if you aren't as fit as you used to be!
Overall, we loved the course layout, views and the greens in particular were superb compared to other courses we've visted during this Corona period. Very friendly staff and we weren't being hurried by the people behind us which is something I always worry about as a beginner.
My only minor gripe is that the signs for the next tee could be more prominent.
Enjoyable day of golf
Not having played here for over 15years it was a very pleasant return .Greens in good condition as was the course give or take a few areas that had soaked up the recent horrible July downpours but the greenkeepers were in top of it and nothing to spoil an enjoyable round of golf with beautiful views over Pendle Hill .One little bit of feedback guys . A couple of greens to tees need sign posting especially for non members /visitors as even though i had played before it was rather confusing at times .Overall Fantastic and will be back again .Friendly staff too in the Pro shop and out on the course
Nice Course.
Played Sunday afternoon.
Fairways & greens very good condition, Tee boxes would benefit from some TLC.
Some interesting and varied holes.
Our group were aged 66/72..... glad we booked buggies., maybe ok without for younger/fitter golfers.
Would return and recommend to friends.
An area requiring attention, without a doubt is signposting from greens to next tee . Took some time to navigate the course being our first round at the course.
As a general point, each of our cars failed to find the course via Satnav. Bit of a drive round the area and had to turn off Satnav and guess from the road signs. A postcode issue?
Felt guilty paying so little for it!
brilliant course, with two distinctive 9s. I started on the back nine which begins with a tricky uphill dogleg, this set the tone for a very rewarding game of golf for people who enjoy strategising round the course rather than just bombing driver. Greens were on the slow side but still rolled very nicely and the staff were very helpful, make sure you take a card as some of the holes are a little hidden. Brilliant views across the valley!
