Check before you play!
Got to the course, had to go to the kitchen to ask for tea and coffee. Members were friendly to be fair. Went to the pro shop. Staff just gave us free pencils and yardage books which was a plus i guess. From the 1st tee we looked to our left and saw a flag in the middle of the fairway and assumed it was a practice area as we couldn't really tell. Was making our way round nicely and enjoying the course. Greens were in very good condition, which made us wonder why 4 Temporary greens were out. We couldn't see the reason behind this at all because all of them were in great condition. The 18th green was closed and turned into a putting green instead. We started the back 9 and a member said "you're walking into the better half now" which had 4 temporary greens. It's a shame as the course is nice and set up lovely. But the best holes were spoiled by greens out of use. We finished the round at 3 and was going to ask why some greens were closed but they closed the pro shop. I would play here again but i'll definitely check whether there are restrictions. If you see a deal for £30. Don't do it. Max price id pay with all greens being open. £23.
Worth a visit
Well worth a visit this place, there are some testing holes, proper old school club but usually very quiet in the afternoons at weekends.
Good value for money, bring your hiking boots for the 17th
Interesting layout with some nice holes
Very nice golf course, which was a good winter test of golf .
Played after heavy rain so had three temporary greens.which we were not told about.
Good welcome and friendly in the bar after.

Scenic course close to M25
My wife and I played this course on a sunny Monday afternoon in June. We were in the area for a business meeting and selected it from the Tee Off Times app only an hour or so before we tee'd off. We did not know the area or course at all. It is situated just a few minutes off the M25, a mile or so up a narrow winding country lane, and is a world away from the motorway. The staff at the Clubhouse were welcoming. We barely saw another person on the course until the last couple of holes. The course was in good condition. It is split into two halves. The first 8 holes across the road from the clubhouse are fairly bland and not too testing. By contrast, holes 10 to 18 are very hilly and testing with some lovely scenic views. We carry our bags and were finding it quite tough up the hills towards the end. Unless you are fit take a trolley or hire a buggy. Don't let that put you off though as the Back 9 in particular is well worth playing. We would definitely recommend the course, it was excellent value for money, and we had a very enjoyable afternoon.
Excellent
Fab course in perfect condition Really fun to play
