Great Course

Fantastic course for the price, the 4th - 7th hole on the cliff tops are absolutely brilliant. I can imagine them being really challenging when the weather rolls in.

Excellent value fabulous condition

Played this course last year but didn’t expect the best condition due to COVID restrictions, however, the course was in excellent condition, really surprised how good it was, my playing partner said exactly the same, well done to Scarborough North Cliff ground staff

Friendly fantastic course

We played as a family 3 ball, as usual we where made to feel welcome by the staff in the club shop who go the extra mile to make you feel at ease.

Course In Great condition when you consider the recent adverse weather and Covid implications.

A hidden gem of a Parkland / links course with challenging holes with panoramic views .

First outing after lockdown

Always love playing this course, many varied holes and challenges. Greens were a little bumpy today but I expect they haven’t been able to get the attention they deserve. All in all the course is in great condition.

Will definitely return

Really Poor

Last day before lockdown, clear blue skies, no wind. Booked on the GolfNow app, no issues, but when we got there they said 1x temp green, 2x holes closed, 1x par 5 shortened to 200 yards... annoyed, we headed to the first tee... turns out also the greens had been slit and were like WW1 battlefields, totally unplayable. Still, at least the weather and company was great.

Lack of information

The ground staff where working on the greens when I arrived but the staff didn't inform me of this and this spoilt the round as the majority of greens were on temps.

If I had known this l would have booked a different day.

A beautiful course

We had a super day at South Cliff. The course was in great condition and the layout was excellent. No two holes are the same, lots of elevated tees and great views along the coast. We enjoyed the valley side very much too. Thoroughly recommend. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful.

This course is brilliant location

We played this course for the first time and were not disappointed, the course was in beautiful condition and the views from the coast side holes overlooking Scarborough are brilliant.

The inland holes are challenging and tested our skills, we had to play with 2 other golfers to make a fourball and no disrespect to the guy's but they were slow players and this took the edge off the game, we both play off 18 and can usually get round in three and a half hours this round took four and a half, one consolation the weather was beautiful.

Would certainly recommend this course and we will be returning some time in the future.

Glorious Sunshine for

An excellent day at Scarborough South. The weather was perfect! Glorious warm Sunshine with very little breeze! Every hole has something to think about, perfectly positioned hazards to catch you out if a little wayward. A lovely mix of Parkland with 6 cliff top holes thrown into the mix! Tee boxes, fairways and greens were excellent and consistent but the bunkers were a little ragged and unkept, no nice edges and were overgrown on the faces. All in all a fab day out, but I can imagine it’s a very tough knock when the weather turns and the wind is off the sea! Well worth a visit!
