Lovely
My first time here. The course played lovely and was in a good condition considering the amount of rain we have had this summer. The one ick I had was the carpark was empty wen I arrived no one in the club house so one of the members pointed me in the right direction and he luckily had a score card in his car to give me. Other then that great time shot 87

Improved a lot recently
The course was in really good condition and the greens ran true..They have done a lot of work both on the course and the clubhouse in recent times and its now in really good condition with a nice variety of holes. Clubhouse looks smart and everyone was very friendly.

Second time that I’ve played Shirlene this year and I am pleased to say that I have been pleasantly surprised. It’s not the best course in Derbyshire, but for £1 a hole, very worth trying it out.

Challenging but great course
I’ve played at Shirland a few times and thoroughly recommend it. The fairways and greens are in really good condition and there are lots of challenges for golfers at all levels.
