Six Hills Golf Club

Outer parts of greens were under repair but didn't take away from an excellent, value for money round of golf.

I’ve played a lot of course around Leicestershire and Derbyshire and this ticks the box as the worst kept course I have ever played . The greens if you can call them that are terrible with at least 70% of every green unplayable . The fairways are full of weeds and haven’t been cut for at least the last two weeks . I am really finding it hard to find anything I enjoyed about this course . When you consider for £5 extra on the green fee you can play somewhere like Morley Hayes which is on another planet to this course . I just wouldn’t waste your time and money playing it .

Decent tricky course with lots of varying levels of challenging holes but the quality of the greens really let it down currently.

Awful experience from being held up and waiting with 3 other groups on one tee box, the group behind me managed to go back and play 3 holes and still get back behind me. Then the course it’s self did not resemble the photos displayed on golf now

We’ve now played this course 3 times in recent weeks , and we’ve kept coming because we feel it’s great value for money.

Our only ( very slight ) criticism , would be that some of the greens could be in better condition, but overall , we all said the course fantastic value for money.

Six Hills is a lovely course well suited to beginners due to its forgiving layout. A better golfer could have a real go at a low score I’m sure. Generally not overbooked and usually in good condition for the money. It won’t rival more premium courses in Leicestershire but it’s way better than anything in its price bracket. Greens are slow but consistent and the scenery and wildlife is exceptional.

Played this course for the first time on a Bank Holiday Monday - wasn’t too busy. Very surprising as the course was really really nice, greens seems well kept & challenging. The surroundings were very peaceful. Overall, was very pleasantly surprised. Will definitely go again!

Played many times here and always enjoyed it. Need to work on the greens though. Otherwise a great course.

Tricky course needs planning,good conditions ,greens a bit spingy.

Myself and my friend came to the course having booked through GolfNow the night before. The course was fantastic and suited us as we are both beginner golfers, but also posed some very challenging holes.

Course is very established and in great condition.
