Springwater Golf Club

We recently held a charity golf day at Springwater. The course was in great condition, all the staff were very friendly and helpful and could not have done more to make the day a success. Would highly recommend the course for all standards of golf.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course as usual and especially the friendliness of staff, from the pro shop to the bar staff.

The course was in very good condition given the extremely dry period we have been through.

The only slight negative was the 3 ball in front of us. The pace of play was ridiculously slow and added 30 minutes on top of how long it normally takes us to play the course. Considering that they had a buggy, their etiquette was poor throughout the round and they had no awareness of groups behind them.

This didn’t spoil anything as everything else was top on the day.

Lovely course. Eases you into it gently on the front 9 and in my opinion the back is such a test. It's certainly ruined a scorecard or two of mine. Always enjoy it though and would recommend to anyone.

Used to be a member here and always enjoyed the challenge. Considering we are in thick of winter the greens played well, pretty dry most areas just a couple muddy areas and mostly on non play area(unless you hit a very poor shot) playing off mats and those were in decent condition, quite a bit of improvement seems to be happening around the course. New paths etc.. worth the money and enjoyable round

Lovely course, only issue is there is no hole layouts.

Decided to play this course last minute as my own course couldn’t get a tee time to suit , what a great layout with many interesting holes no two are the same , really enjoyed the course fourball in front said sorry it’s slow it’s seniors day but got round in 3.30m which is very good everyone was very pleasant who we met and will go back to play especially at the price thanks Springwater great value

We have played Springwater GC many times. Condition of the course and greens was very good. Has always, the course is a challenge and we enjoy the ups and downs of the natural contours.

Yesterday was spoilt due to a group of players who blatantly were not regular golfers and had no idea about golf decorum.

Hopefully next time they will not be on the course.

Been playing this course on and off over the last 5 years, love the challenge, the course condition, nice up and down holes without being too stupid. Good value today at £28, teeing off at 10am.

Lovely course, greens are in great condition. Friendly staff in the pro shop. Some really interesting holes to navigate around. Will definitely look to visit again.
