Stand Golf Club

Course was in great condition, especially the greens. The green staff are doing a great job. Really challenging round of golf, as a key feature on the day, was the strong wind into your face on a number of holes.

Can’t wait play there again

Booked a round here as my home course is winter greens, mats and closed holes. As promised the course is in really good condition despite so much rain lately. All the holes are interesting to play and it is a good test of golf. Plays longer that it’s 6200 yards as hilly and many doglegs but I found this to be a positive aspect of what was a be try enjoyable round. The staff and members were friendly and helpful.

1st time playing this course, car park very small struggled to park, they have a few empty spaces for the captains, directors parking that I hate (old skool time has moved on from this).

Very friendly staff and a nice putting/chipping greens to practice on.

Course has a few dog legs and blind tee shots, These holes could do with a bell on them.

Greens were in great condition very fast, even in damp conditions.

Would recommend playing as some great holes overall a nice Course

Challenging, long course which for a first time player makes you think about each shot.

Course played really well considering all the rain over the past two weeks. Will definitely be back soon.

Visiting from Canada. Showed early to have a bite but kitchen closed. Pro literally walked out to deliver sandwiches and baked goods on 2 fairway. Class act. Course was a challenge with lots of elevation changes and excellent greens. Great day and we picked a sunny day!

Played a couple of times now and always an enjoyable knock. A great layout with no 2 holes the same. There’s a good mix of long and short par 4’s alike with 2 very demanding par 3’s. The greens were also rolling superb.

First time playing, excellent greens and fairways great variety of holes. Pulled trolley and did not find up and down nature of course to be too challenging, however I am probably very fit for my age. Will definitely look forward to playing again.

In every department club and course are a credit to the staff who run this Golf club. I will ne back.

Greens were amazing, rolled perfectly. Course presentation top quality. Superb day out, will definitely be back.

Two-ball playing early afternoon midweek. Quick round with no hold ups. Friendly local golfers. Course is challenging with barely a flat lie on fairways and many ups and downs, including some blind shots and a few interesting doglegs. Greens were in superb condition and true; difficult to read but that's a positive in my mind. Fairways also in excellent condition. Without an electric trolley the significant undulation (total ascent on the Garmin = 530 ft) may challenge unfit golfers but we found it good exercise. No time to enjoy the clubhouse facilities. All told, a really enjoyable afternoon and excellent value for the green fee.
