First time, well impressed, fairways and greens top condition, will definitely be back, now we know the course layout…..

In good condition for time of year . No hole seemed the same as any other hole and good veriety of hole types.

The course is nice overall. Greens were fast and true. Some holes were quirky with a few blind shots and major elevation changes. Would play it again and the price was right.

Have played this course a few times and it always looks in good condition. Buggy track all the way around, which helps with my older friend, who needs a buggy. The greens were in good condition and the fairways were also generally decent. It can be a bit expensive. During the Covid Lockdown period they did increase their costs more than most other clubs, which left a bit of a sour taste but the prices have now come down to a more reasonable level.

Overall it's a good course, well laid out and quite challenging. Recommened

The course is tough and very hilly. Greens were in great conditions. Fairways weren’t really fairways but still good conditions coming off the back of winter. Only thing that would stop us going back was lace of play. First few holes was good but when we got to the 6th we had to wait between 5-10 minutes to tee off. We then had to do this at every hole and we walked off after the 15th because it would have easily been another hour for the last 3

Very poor drainage on the course, had to stop at 9 holes. Asked for some sort of compensation and could only offer a round at very inconvenient times in the work week. Disappointed overall especially for the money they charge.

The weather overnight and during the morning was horrendous (tee time 10:48), so much so that I received a phone call from the Pro Shop offering to give me a credit and re-book in a couple of weeks as the course wasn't in the best condition.

I thought this was excellent service in giving me the option; however, with childcare and work sorted, my playing partner and I persevered.

The course was certainly wet, but in good nick, considering. The greens had been spiked the previous week, but I must say, not only did they drain well, they ran impressively.

If you like a thinking course, then this is ideal.

The only frustration for me was that there weren't many flat lies which became a minor irritation.

All in all, lovely course in great condition. Will definitely revisit in the warmer months.

Had a round on my own on Sunday morning. The course was a lot hillier than I thought, most shots from the fairway were from a sloping lie and proved quite challenging. The course was playing a lot longer and there were winds up to 35mph.

Great course though and I definitely would recommend it.

I will definitely be back to play the course in the summer!

Starting at 736am in a frosty 0º Celsius I was not expecting a course in such great conditions.

The greens were a bit tricky as some took longer to defrost than others which added to the challenge.

Every hole seem to bring a new and creative challenge.

The holes with water on were cunning. I managed to put one in the water on EVERY hole that had water.

Rough was short enough that it wasn't too much of a challenge and I found the course well balanced.

Some steep hills to climb, I might rent a buggy next time if I'm feeling lazy.

I shot 100 as a handicap 23 (27 for this course)

After the sun rise there were some fantastic views and a hot air balloon launching nearby. Can't wait to play this course again.

Not too bad condition for this time of year. However, cost is way too expensive for a mid week round.

Played here before in dry conditions and it was an excellent course. During wet winter, almost not walkable especially when you need to carry and play. Many slip marks clearly folks have slipped whilst walking around. Suggest to the club to close the course if really unplayable.

It must be really difficult to keep courses in good playing condition at this time of year but they are clearly doing a good job at Surrey National. Definitely pays to keep it straight in these conditions - difficult to pay out of anywhere not on the fairway
