I’ve now played this course a couple of times and have enjoyed it every time. It’s quiet undulating and challenging. I found the staff all very friendly and the course in very good condition. Will definitely be back again soon.

Course is in great shape, fairways and tees are well manicured and the greens are running fast and true! Stunning condition!

First time playing Surrey National as a 3 ball, staff were friendly and helpful as not played there before. Course is really good condition and the lay out was good. Definitely recommend and will be playing back there for sure.

Great option for the london based golfer. Some interesting holes with good views, course in great condition and greens fast but fair.

Pretty playable course for the mid - high handicapper with lots of options to get the big stick out without too much risk. Drive it well here and you could go low.

A great option for a golf day with a mix of handicaps in my opinion.

We've played Surrey National on a number of occasions. In general the course is in excellent condition, the greens and fairways are brilliant. The one thing that let's the course down at the moment are the bunkers. They are inconsistent and the sand used isn't the best, lots of stones and some need refilling

4.5 hour for a 2 ball round. Stacked 4 balls all day, and slow even for that. Bunkers woeful and borderline unplayable with the amount of stones and lack of sand. Great shame as course has potential but at the moment seems to favour maximum cash in door through revolving 4 balls, over golfing experience.

Greens a bit slow but in decent condition. The slowest round I’ve played. Kids fishing on the 3rd hole.

The slowest round I’ve ever had. The Society who’d booked up at least a few tee times were unacceptably slow; it took nigh on 5hr30 to play 18 holes.

There was a 2-ball in front of us who were playing as fast as they could but they were continually having to wait for all the 4-ball Society groups to get a move on! A good thing the weather was nice.

The cart paths throughout the course are pretty dire; serious work needs to be carried on these massively uneven rocky ‘paths’,

The course itself was in a great condition and despite being a high handicapper I got a (gross) par at the difficult 16, missed another par by inches on the SI 1 hole and had it not been for a wayward 4H on the last that put the ball in to the fountain pond I likely would’ve finished net -4, so a very good round on a particularly challenging / difficult and hilly / steep course.

Would like to play again once my handicap is another 5-6 lower to see how I do!

Course is in great condition - tees, fairways and greens. With all the hawthorn and blackthorn in bloom it is a picturesque time of year. The panorama from the clubhouse terrace is one of the best around. Off the yellow tees the course slope rating is 126 so this is a tricky course - plenty of slopes, twists and turns. The water on 3 and 5 is perilous. Very welcoming staff in the pro shop and the bar. Recommended.

Played this course in the past for £25 and loved it. Friends wanted to play, so we did, but such a shame it's now outpriced many social golfers. Nice course but not worth the prices they are now charging so will find somewhere else until it's more affordable again. Pity..

Played on my own yesterday. Course - especially the greens were in great condition. Liked the layout. Only gripe was the 2 members in front if me in a buggy who held my up on every hole even though I was carrying. If they’d let me through I would have been finished a lot quicker
