First time playing here great chippy and putting green to warm up

One big thing for us was finding the sign post to the tees also no guide of how it plays dog leg left or right

Green well keep fair amount of balls plugged on the greens

Was extremely windy but overall some great features

Little on the trumpy side

One of the best club houses super friendly

Considering recent weather, have to say the course played really well and very fair. We'll definitely return.

Having played this weekend I think it is one of the best courses for winter golf. Greens, tees and fairways all very good for the time of the year. Will be playing here again very soon.

I try to play Surrey National once a month if I can. I think the course is in great condition for this time of the year considering all the rain we have had! Good clubhouse, staff and facilities too.

Unfriendly welcome at the pro-shop, two guys standing around staring at their feet whilst their boss was on the phone. Stated no reduced fees for children (in a flaky manner) and no buggies, despite this we saw multiple buggies (driven by non members) on the course.

The starter (on the first) however was incredibly friendly and positive, especially towards my sons.

Course was in decent condition considering all the rain. But far too busy; they were setting people off every 8 mins which does not work. We had to wait to Tee off at every hole except the first. A fairly interesting/varied course with some really nice individual holes. Would love to play there on a quiet summer's day.

Booked a four-ball about 2 months before we were due to play at £40pp and thought nothing more about it and a few days before we were due to play checked the app and that booking had been cancelled and rescheduled 8 minutes later on the same day at £55pp and the additional money had been taken from my account without authorisation.

I called GN who told me they’d investigate the matter and contact me that day with resolution, that was a week ago and still nothing!!!

Great course but a shocking experience from GN, surely taking money from an account without authorisation is fraud!

Interesting holes throughout especially enjoyed the back 9.I’m an average golfer so course was quite challenging and could see how sloping fairways would cause trouble in the summer (especially with the slice on my driver).Considering recent rain fairways really good but the greens absolutely excellent.Will definitely come again.

A little moist underfoot but pretty good and greens were excellent.

3rd time back at Surrey national and it never disappoints.

I live in north London and still happy to travel there to play a round.

Played on a chilly but dry day, course in good condition and greens faster than others we'd done recently.

We've played there twice this year and have scored less than precovid rounds as on several holes they've cleared the rough areas of bracken and weeds.

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit but surprised by paying >£12.00 for two pints... I guess that's the going rate now so can't complain.

Such a shame as the course itself was beautiful and in great condition!

I was given a tee time of 13:12, and whilst waiting at the first tee a group of 4 turned up with the same tee time. There were numerous groups in front, and as I found out later, numerous groups behind.

Waiting at least 10 minutes on each tee, getting hassled by groups behind and being hit into on the fairways.

Overall a really disappointing experience, it was so frustrating and slow that I called it after 9 holes and was told there would be no reimbursement of any kind.

Glad to re-visit surrey national. I forgot how much walking is involved and wore the wrong shoes, keep that in mind. Had a good warm up at the range, chipping and putting areas before forgetting it all after 4 holes. Greens and fairways in great condition. Would recommend.

Always enjoy playing here - enjoyed it more the 2nd and 3rd time I played, as there are plenty of slopes to contend with, so it's great when you understand how to play the course. Greens are well maintained, nice spot to sit outside for a drink after too in summer.
