Tynemouth Golf Club

I headed to Tynemouth GC last week when all the other local courses were either closed or on 18 temporary greens. I was really impressed with the course, especially the greens. I'm sure my putt on the 7th had a triple break in! You're happy to 2 putt any of the greens here. Challenging holes that need some thought Tee to Green. I joined two Members who couldn't have more welcoming along with all the staff. Great club and well worth a visit! Will definitely be back soon and highly recommended!

Excellent day great course definitely be back to play again

I haven’t played here in over ten years cracking little course the wind was blowing a hoolie which made it quite a challenging day, greens were in good condition, look forward to playing here again hopefully a little less windy

If you aren’t a member, then they won’t like you, stuck up and it’s members like this that give golf a bad name. Avoid this place like the plague if you don’t have a posh accent.

Course in great condition, such a different game playing in summer.

Booked to play with my son who has re located to Tynemouth booked in with a very friendly chap in the pro shop and spoke with several members around the putting green who were again friendly. The course was presented beautifully and the greens very true some very interesting holes and a typically good James Braid classic course will definitely be returning soon great course

In really good condition, the day was windy but it's a coastal course so occasionally that happens. Always friendly and pace of play on a busy day was good.

Course in very good condition albeit greens a bit slow compared to what I am used to in my home Club.

Staff very friendly both in Proshop and Clubhouse so we really enjoyed our visit.

Not having played this course for decades, it was difficult to remember but it all came back after a few holes. We didn't mark a card, we just played what we thought was right and compared our play. Pleasantly surprised on how good it is and we are certain to return before very long. Staff and fellow player were very helpful and friendly. I would seriously recommend this course.

Lovely course in great condition and everyone very friendly.

Just played Tynemouth in a twilight round. The greens are in great condition for early spring, rolling very true although naturally slower. The work the groundskeepers have done riveting the bunkers is incredible. New sand too. Unfortunately I tested more of them than I would have liked!

Really friendly and helpful staff at the pro shop. Course in really good condition considering the time of the year and lack of warm weather. Good pace of play. All in all, very good.
