I was surprised as expected this course to be better from the reviews, the course is tiny, so requires tee shots over other players crossing other holes, very narrow fairways on most holes, haven’t got much positive to say about the course. I rang the day before and was told all greens are in play and everything open, arrived following morning to be told three holes are not playable and all are on winter greens, poor value for money, wouldn’t go again.

Exceptional value for money, the course is short compared to some but don’t be fooled it’s a good test of golfing ability, the greens are tricky, quick and importantly roll true. Clear signage on the 4th-9th but it’s location needs to be more prominent, I nearly tee’d off down the 9th, it’s easy when you know but for visitors it will cause confusion. This is a small constructive response. To put it into perspective £15 gets you a bucket of balls from Trafford Golf Driving Range (which is good, not a knock) but for less you can play 18 holes here. You literally cannot beat that. Given the condition of the course it’s hard to see how this is even possible. Play it while you can folks ⛳️

Beat greens I’ve played on this winter so far,

For the amount of rain we’ve had they were nice and firm, quick and rolled well

For the time of year, this course was absolutely fantastic and in great condition. Easily playable course and had a good round

The course is in good condition for this time of year. Though a bit boggy in parts good for the price I paid though can’t fault the greens

Prices have jumped a bit since the takeover but still its local and a decent knock.

First time playing here, quite a short course but really enjoyable to play, couple of tricky holes too. Conditions were good for time of year, would recommend.
